How was your off day?

Ended up working until I left for the state fair. XD

State fair though was awesome.

First of all, they have section of the fairgrounds dedicated to teaching the basics of archery, shooting, trapping, and fishing, complete with a couple small ranges (pellet and bow), and a fishing pond. Didn't look to see what they had for trapping. I got to correct the guy teaching archery too. XD

Right next to that was a reproduction of an old school trappers camp, complete with reenactors showing blacksmithing, old style sewing, lead bullet casting, and the like. There was also someone selling pelts. Bought a beautiful gray fox. Wanted a wolverine, but those were like $200, as were lynx.

After that, we went to a Darius Rucker concert. I lol'd at a black guy singing country to a bunch of white hillbillies, and then I read for the rest of the concert.

Add in all the fair food, and the overall fun atmosphere, and it was a good time.

Nice. Sounds like an epic day.
