Bad Santa

Sure, it's rude and profane, but at the end of the day it's a rather heartwarming story about a Grinch's transformation. And, it makes me laugh harder than almost any other movie.

Bella

Wow. I... expected this to be really mediocre, due in part to the low reviews, but also just because I hadn't heard much about it. I was completely surprised to see that it went far beyond average.

The acting was, honestly, excellent. The directing wasn't half bad, either. But... the personalities and inner turmoil of the characters... that's what made the movie. I loved it.

Bella. That movie hit me. Good stuff.

I watched the Watchmen again. Still love this movie. Can't say that it held the original sense of "wow" that I still got from Dark Knight both the second and third time I saw that film in theaters last summer. Which, I think, reflects how there are some areas where Watchmen does fall short. But these areas are few and in between.

Best movie based on a graphic novel that we'll see all year.

IIRC that was the movie that had more F words than there were minutes in the movie or something

"A shocking amount of profanity is used during this 93 minute-long film. There are about 150 f-words and over 60 s-words, along with more than 75 other profanities and crudities."

Holy momma.

Yah, i read language in that was bad. But look at Pride and Glory.

"Are you ready for this? Characters in Pride and Glory utter the f-word more than 300 times: That's more f-words than there were Spartans defending the pass of Thermopylae, and an average of more than two a minute."
