Poor Spartan...Thee hath summoned the wrath of...Someone, I'm sure. :D

Currently I'm finishing off Rudyard Kipling's "Jungle Book," which I read every two or three months because I like it so much. Mowgli's tale is a favorite, though Rikki-Tikki-Tavi is also much loved.

Dern it all, I love the entire book.

S.R> Lawhead is a favorite author of mine, and the Dragon King saga is a favorite set of works. So last year when I saw the hardback collection I knew I needed to get it. I highly recommend them.

Lawhead is one of my favorites as well.

The Alex Rider series. They kind of remind me of the old James Bond books as far as the rather pessimistic outlook of the hero. Good books though.

Ah, good man! Have you read "The Black Rood"?

I'm reading "Shivering World", by Kathy Tyers.

She is another favorite author of mine, writing the Firebird Trilogy, which I would own in leather bound if it was available. :D

I've actually read the whole Celtic Crusades series as well as his Dragon king trilogy, his Hood series, and the Song of Albion trilogy. I really like him.

Kathy Tyers is not bad as well. I read "Truce at Bakura" and liked it.

Back on topic:

I just picked up Scorpia which is the fifth book in the Alex Rider series.

Well I finished my book, so, I'm not reading anything right now.

And I need to correct myself, the name of the book is: Intelligent design VS. Evolution

The Stand by Steven King.

Wow. That book is amazing. The first book I've read that actually gave me the shivers.
It took me about 10 hours to read and that's slow for me. Kept my attention every page.
Great read. Note: There's a lot of language and also some sex. Not for the immature.

Dude, that book took me at least two weeks... but I was in school when I was reading it, and trying to get as much time between (and during, I confess) class.

I'm now reading several books on the Arab-Israeli six day war. Amazing stuff. Israel was totally out numbered.

Yes, but I think they still won correct? :D

The problem is, all my classics are in my parents room, because they have better bookshelves. I really want to read "The Call of the Wild", but I'll probably settle for something else. To Kill a Mockingbird?

You'll be ready now.

Laz's story. Because I was bored. And Laz completely abandoned it without explanation.

Just recently:

I Am the Messenger by Markus Zusak

Amazing book. I thoroughly enjoyed it, although some of the inappropriateness I didn't appreciate. Go and read it anyway.

Rat Life by Ted Arnold

A bit too juvenile for my tastes as I was expecting something a little more high class after Messenger. Oh, well. It was okay.

I'm in the beginning of:

Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman

I heard so many amazing things that I decided to see for myself. I find it incredibly interesting but I'm not completely sucked it yet as I haven't really had the time to really sit down and read it.
