First... remake?

CK, there've only been two Manchurian Candidate films made. XD

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

Meh.

While ripping off many plot points from The Lion King, it does squeak out a few laughs.

Overall, it's worth a rental if you don't mind some scattered comedy and no good plot.

Er, sorry, I meant to say adaptation. XD

There Will Be Blood

Still as outstanding, incredible, brilliant and devastating as before. I love this movie. People don't understand why, but... I always have. o_o

The Proposition

Wow. It slightly wasn't what I expected, but all the same, it was... awesome. The acting was very excellent all across the board, and it really captured the culture and lifestyle of 1800's Australia. It definitely added a twist to your usual Western, which was nice to see. The charazterization was done very, very well, and the actors fit their roles almost perfectly. The violence got a bit gratuitous in places, but... Australia was pretty rough back then, so I guess I can't say that I'm surprised.

I'd give it an... A or an A-, probably. It wasn't the best Western ever, but it was definitely one of the best.

Taken.

A-

Very good story, and enough action.

Also, considering the subject matter, I was glad they didn't have too much sexual content.

Ehh, I'm not too big on this type of documentary. (I.E. Michael Moore style)

It was cool though, and Ben Stein provided a few laughs.

B+

Lady in the Water

Was OK, not as scary as I had hoped.

B+

Idiocracy

One word for this movie.

TERRIBLE!

And you thought Mall cop was epic fail......

D-

Bottle Rocket

This movie was so funny, I almost passed out.

I HIGHLY recommend this movie to any comedy fan who doesn't mind language.

A+

The Village

Now THIS was more of my type of movie.

For all the criticism it received, I thought it was pretty good.

A-

Twister

Ehh.

Was OK.

MUCH better than what I had expected though.

B+

O Brother, Where Art Thou?

This was absolutely hilarious.

I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It feels very 90's if you know what I mean. Regardless, most of it was pretty silly and entertaining. It gives me another reason to not hate the Brothers for the abomination that was The Heartbreak Kid. Plus it has Randy Quaid, and you can't go wrong with him.
