This?

According to the late PO Ackley, the Arisaka is the strongest action. He managed to overload one to the point where he blew the barrel off, but the receiver was fine. There's another verified account of someone in the late 50's rechambering but not rebarreling one into .30-06. Which basically means he was pushing a .308 diameter slug out of a .264 diameter barrel. Successfully. Only problem was the recoil sucked.

and lol. Some guys will try anything... dunno if I'd wanna risk pushing a bullet like that through an undersized barrel. I can see it working sometimes... but banana barrels are no fun. XD

Cool gun in the link though. Strong actions are always a plus. ^_o
