No argument. The Mini-Vulcan's probably my dad's birthday gift next month. Though, I must say I handled a Flash II a fe weeks ago. Less than impressive.

IDK, I once sharpened a Gerber to the point where it cut myself tapping it. <_<

But I don't doubt it, since it uses the same steel as the Delica.

The lock is freaking awesome. It locks up as solidly as a bank vault, and opens so smoothly. Just a flick of your hand and it's open. Hit the lock, flick your hand again and it's closed. Love that knife.
I'll give you that the locks better. Benchmade Axis locks are notorious for being unbreakable, and since the Arc lock is just a knockoff of those... Though, the Spyderco ball bearing lock wins out for me. Uses a more powerful spring.

I do like the Spyderco knives... even though they look cheap and I hate those kinds of lockbacks. They're always waaaay too stiff and slow. How smooth would you say these Spyderco's are?
They're not all economy class lockbacks dude :p

Look at the Manix 2, uses a polymer caged ball lock and G10 handles.

But mine have all been smooth. PPT opens faster than an auto, the Phoenix is smoother, but slower. The Delica had a little grit to it, but it got in the sand a lot. Now, the Ladybug couldn't be opened fast. But it's the size of your trigger finger, so...XD
Nix wrote: Also, what's this Phoenix you talk about? I vaguely remember you mentioning it... but can't get an image in my mind.

Finally... what's the handle steel on the Perrin PPT?
This is the Phoenix. Not the most practical carry piece, but it's beautiful. I honestly bought it because it was $100 off and being discontinued.

The PPT handle is a massive slab of scalloped G10 and thick stainless liners topped off with a FFG S30V blade. It's...not discreet. But it'll never break either.

So, for myself I'm looking at this next. What do you say?

Assuming I'm still banned from guns....

Hm... not close. You're thinking along the same lines I was when I saw that one and the truth is WAY more interesting. In fact, the next season is peppered with clues that went right over my head until the reveal. Maybe you'll figure it out quicker :)

Who do you think is the 12th Cylon model?

I do want something Spyderco. I love that the steel is as high grade as it is at that price. I haven't read anything but good stuff on them... guess I just gotta find the model I want. XD

That's an awesome looking blade. A tad pricey, but if you've got the money I'd go for it.

Unless of course you can get another firearm at that time. :p

Hmm... I can't say for sure. The one person who has crossed my mind on a couple of occasions has been Roslin. That surprise you?

This?

Needs a brake job and I'd have to convince my parents a small armored vehicle with crappy gas mileage is an appropriate first car, but...it's an armored car. I need no more excuse.

Still wicked awesome looking though. XD

A bit expensive. >_<

A kayak? Very cool. And very fun. Like them better than canoes.

Oh yeah. Faster, lighter, more seaworthy.

Ever try to shoot in one?

Um, no. I'd be thrown in jail most likely. That or have a shootout on my hands. <_<

Probably XD.

But I kinda want to go out into the middle of the ocean and shoot a few off with the .303. Interested in seeing if I can use recoil impulse as propulsion in a light vessel XD

Water?

Not really. We tossed that one around too!

I was also wondering about what you expect Earth to be like should the Colonial Fleet find it?
