The analysis of a classic work deserves a larger vocabulary? You might see it as pretension, but it's simply people trying to fulfill their duty.

They're not talking about you, they're trying to figure out what you said.

Either that, or they're talking about how your breath smells like an onion marinated in garbage sauce, take your pick.

You mistake me riis. And it hurts. I'm not talking about the people who use a large vocabulary to describe a greater work of fiction, I'm talking about the people who deliberately use big words in order to make you feel stupid, or perhaps push themselves off as one of higher intelligence. In other words, pretentious.

I spek' in small and meaningless words in general, but that doesn't mean I can't tell the difference between a large vocabulary and sheer pretentiousness. Yeesh. And surprisingly, I get that a lot. It shows. I'm over-sensitive.

See, I know this person. He uses lots of big words, all the time. A lot of people think that he's full of it, and he certainly sounds like it. But I genuinely think that he's just taking advantage of his natural intelligence...why should he dumb himself down? So I guess there's a fine line.

Easter? Eh, *rant about commercialization*

Again, I generally know when peep's are being magniloquent. All about the intangibles. I have trouble understanding Oro or Drew at times, but I know that's just the ways they be spekkin'. I learned from Jimmy Neutron that big words don't mean people are evil.

I hold Easter dear to my heart...my fambly calls it's Resurrection day. <3

If you think about it, shouldn't Easter be a bigger holiday than Christmas to Christians?

In a sense, yes. But like you said, it's all about the intangibles.

My favorite book that I read in high school.

I remember seeing the Ted Danson version and liking it, but not as much as the book, and the Jack Black version, as much as I love Jason Segel, looks like utter drivel.

I picked up the book again after 8 years or so. Like it better now.

Hmm. Odd guy. Had to be strong though.

I...was thinking more along the lines of electronics though. Looking back, I can see this was one of those situations where clarification would have been nice. XD

Are you gonna take it?
