I'm afraid of heights. I remember making it up to the top of a 15 foot rock climbing wall once and being terrified the whole time. And I was wearing a harness. XD Of course, then I almost dropped down on some random guy who was standing beneath me...that would've been awkward.

At my gym, the walls are 25 feet tall, though I have climbed walls a bit higher. Even though I've been climbing for a while, I also get a bit nervous sometimes when I'm at the top. I can't imagine ever free soloing...Chozon1 wrote:I'm afraid of heights. I remember making it up to the top of a 15 foot rock climbing wall once and being terrified the whole time. Stormtrooper armor?
As for Stormtrooper armor, I'm a fan. Looks cool, and from what I've gathered, it does have its benefits. Who knows, maybe we'll use similar armor in the future?

I don't understand the benefits. I mean...it still seems like the stormtroopers in the movies die after a single blaster shot, and in the Clone Wars cartoon, they only sometimes protect from vacuum, and even then it's only for a short time. O_o
That said...I do love the way it looks. XD

I didn't think there were any real benefits, until I stumbled upon this:Chozon1 wrote:I don't understand the benefits. Jedi, Sith, or Unaffiliated force use?
Source: http://scifi.stackexchange.com/question ... -star-wars
- The armor and body glove worn beneath were designed to disperse the energy of a blaster bolt and insulate the wearer, lessening injury
- It could partially deflect or disperse energy from low, medium, and high-energy blaster bolts. While the trooper may be left incapacitated, they would survive long enough to receive medical treatment.
- It deflected stun beams and provided general protection against explosions and shrapnel.
- Glancing blaster bolts were deflected or damage-reduced
- The armor included air filters and were fully sealed against chemical and biological attacks. Some were effective in vacuum conditions for limited times.
- The body glove worn beneath provided protection in hot or cold climates.
Still, I do agree that stromtroopers are terrible fighters and their amour didn't seem to help much.
If I had force abilities, I would probably use it unaffiliated. Between Jedi and Sith, I side the former, but given the choice, I'd like to just live a normal life. Having the force might make for some fun party tricks.

That's better than your skivvies, I guess...Commando armor is pretty awesome, too.

Enjoyed seeing the movie in theaters, but I don't have any plans to own a copy. I'd be happy re-watch it though.Chozon1 wrote:That's better than your skivvies, I guess...Commando armor is pretty awesome, too.

We pre-ordered it...haven't watched it yet, though. We're waiting for the weekend.

Can't speak from experience, but I'd imagine it hurts.

Agreed, if used responsibly. I hope there'd be training lightsabers as well for friendly duels.Chozon1 wrote:Lightsabers would be awesome in real life?

I think I'd rather have a training saber than a real one. Less chance of slipping and losing a limb. XD

Kinda how I'm feeling right now after having fallen asleep on the couch and consuming any caffeine I could get my hands on.Chozon1 wrote:I think I'd rather have a training saber than a real one. Less chance of slipping and losing a limb. XD

Caffeine is the elixir of life. <3 I'd take it intravenously if such a thing was possible.

They can be hilarious. First one that comes to mind is the "classic" Fall Out Boy song: My song Knows What You Did in the Dark.Chozon1 wrote:Caffeine is the elixir of life. <3 I'd take it intravenously if such a thing was possible.
