Other than the scriptures or game books? There aren't a lot of those in my life. Patrick F. McManus books and a few from Terry Pratchett, but other than those and a few classics, that's about it.
I do like my computer, and I never knew how much I would love my iPod until I actually had one. I also prefer the Apple operating system over the other ones I've tried (various Windows, and a few Linux).
It's extremely user-friendly - to the point where people are actually thrown off by how easy it is to use. In general, if your first impulse is to do the simple thing, then that's probably what you're supposed to do.

Amusingly enough, the Elder Scrolls series are pretty much the only reason I wish I had a Windows machine.
I've spent hours and hours playing Morrowind - and have had to restart so often I can get through the first village in my sleep - but have never gotten far on the main quest. I don't think I've even met with ... oh, what's his face. The dude in the floating rock. There has always been so many other things to do in the game. Even if it's just picking flowers and brewing potions. Are you calling me a "master of sarcastic wit?" I can take that as a compliment.

There are quite a few of those. Herman Melville, for example - that guy seems to avoid dialogue like the plague. Also, I think "The Great Gatsby" is one of the most pointless books ever written.
