The moment you've all been waiting for my friends.
Gran Torino
Superb. Deeply touching, it made me smile and it broke my heart. Clint Eastwood is an amazing actor and director. The supporting cast of mostly amateurs was not as bad as some critics would have you think. But at least half of the packed theater sat in silence when the credits started rolling, clearly affected and touched just as I was. At times, the plot seemed a tad forced, but the direction it took made that forgivable. Eastwood is a master at making emotional films (he also did Mystic River), and this one is no different. I strongly recommend it.
A+
What was the last movie you watched?

Doubt
Not to be cliche, but I am in doubt. Doubt about whether or not this was a great movie, or a truly amazing one. Part of me says that it's probably better suited for the stage, as it was originally intended. Another part of me thinks that it has gone beyond its stage roots and evolved into a cinematic masterpiece. I can't pick. But I am certain that the script is one of the finest I've seen in a while and the acting is possibly the best I've seen all year (don't know if they can quite beat out Mr. Ledger).
I'm not sure. But the more I think about it. The more I like it. Must think moar.

I was thinking about seeing it, since I found out that it was not another piece of anti-Catholic propaganda like I was initially led to believe. A friend of mine, who is Catholic, said it was good, so that seals it for me.

No. It's not anti-Catholic at all.
Honestly. I think it's an important film for Christians to see. Because what Doubt ultimately comes down to is a representation of the difference between those that follow the letter of the law and those that follow the spirit of the law. And that...is why I have decided, that this film is amazing. It gets an A+ from me.

Event Horizon
Wow.
I'm still in awe at how.......weirdly disturbing this movie was.
This wasn't the best movie I've ever seen, but it was one of the more....intriguing.
In quite a switch, Sam Neill plays the "Bad Guy," which is quite cool and disturbing at the same time.

Bedtime Stories.
Surprisingly amusing. It was predictable, but it was enough to get me out of a foul mood.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...
