Weed whacking is fun, too. I like my Ryobi, but want one with a steel blade that can cut trees. *maniacal laugh*
Meatloaf, or no meatloaf?
Go ask the lizard-guy something....

Then you want a chainsaw.Chozon1 wrote: Fri May 19, 2017 7:14 am Weed whacking is fun, too. I like my Ryobi, but want one with a steel blade that can cut trees. *maniacal laugh*
Yes, they have a purpose other than cutting down zombie hordes. Who knew?
Depends on the context. Meatloaf is good (usually). Having no meatloaf when you were expecting meatloaf is sad, indeed.
If you're talking about a music list, Meatloaf can be nice, but is by no means necessary. He is a talented musician, sure... but he's no Queen.

I am pretty sure I want a weed whacker. I'm not going to go get my chainsaw for a bunch of 1-inch saplings. There's an especially weedy spot at the end of our driveway composed of thorn bushes, blackberry bushes, and assorted saplings that would be too fidgety for me to get it into anyway. I have a machete...but why would I want to do something sensible when I can dream of an overpowered piece of equipment that would do it for me while I laughed maniacally?

How do you play with a snake? I keep tossing him sticks, but he won't bring it back to me....

Yeah, but then I couldn't wield it in one hand and pretend I was a Jedi on a planet full of sentient, evil, plants.

At first I thought this was in response to my comment about playing with snakes.Chozon1 wrote: Wed May 24, 2017 7:18 am Yeah, but then I couldn't wield it in one hand and pretend I was a Jedi on a planet full of sentient, evil, plants.

That can always be a fun choice if you're playing a tabletop game, and you can play a spellcaster with a snake as a familiar. Or even better, an animal companion. Too bad they often are associated with evil...Chozon1 wrote: Thu May 25, 2017 7:05 am ...A snake would actually be an amazing weapon. O_o I'm filing that one away.
It can be nice, especially on hot summer days.

Oh, that's even better. Now I want to make the character a 'progressive' good guy, that is constantly berating people for racism/some other sort of -ism because they assume he and his snake are evil when they're not. XD

There are a few books like that. Sometimes, with age and maturity, you get more out of it after the second, or even third reading. 1984 is one that comes to mind, as does the writings of Pat McManus.

For me, I actually seem to enjoy it more when I know how it ends and who bites it. The stress and worry about the characters is gone. XD

I can't say that that has ever happened to me. It used to really bother my wife, though.

I had a decaying tooth and a sinus infection last week...I was crying. It literally felt like there was a knife being jabbed into my face. @_@ I hate teeth. We have blenders and food processors, so we don't need teeth anymore. >_>
