Oh dude, good question. They've all got their pros and cons. Warp Speed seems to be the most reliable, as in you need it and it's almost always there. Hyperspace is similar... except different in that it seems to be looked at as a bigger deal than warp. Like, going into hyperspace is actually a process than just hitting WARP (okay, maybe it ain't /that/ simple... you get the idea though).

Stargates are alright I guess. Too much like a buss or train though. You gotta have one to use one, and there's gotta be one where you want to travel to (usually).

Now, BSG's jumping... that's where it's at. :p

Oh, I've been watching Fringe from the start. It's great.

So, should I keep my SMLE scoped, or as a open sighted carbine?

Ah.

And... that totally depends on what you're gonna do with it. If it's gonna mainly be used for open fields, obviously a scope would be better. None of my guns have scopes because we're back in the woods (a high powered scope is useless), except my .22 and that's only a little fixed 4x32.

Targets, maybe boar or deer. Terrain is pine woods, with some oak hammock and large fields of palmetto.

Bow hunting turkey come spring?

Ah, Okay. Maybe a low-ish powered scope would be the way to go. Or an adjustable one.

That sounds fun. Never done it... might be interesting.

Yeah...it's cheap, so I might go.

But I'd have to take a hunter's safety course. Not that I need it.

Have you noticed in the newest TV shows people are handling guns better?

Like, they don't just randomly rack the slide on every handgun they come across and do proper brass checks?

I've noticed newer shows are more accurate, yeah. Hawaii 5-O for example... seems to know what it's doing. XD

This will work. You don't burn stuff, do you? Or at least, you'd burn it in gravy?

Ever try shooting a right handed bolt leftie?

Uh, yeaaaah. It isn't as easy as one might think. I'm not a completely terrible shot left handed, but the whole operating the bolt... it's different that way. XD

Honestly, my only problem is hitting myself in the face with the bolt. But that's without a scope, too.

So, I'm thinking I'll take my dad out squirrel hunting. But... there's no way he's hitting a squirrel with an open-sighted .22.

I'm thinking a break action 20 gauge. Thoughts?

EDIT: Also, I waited a few more days so I could get that bipod.

Ah.

Like, just a single shot break? That's what I've got, my 12 that is (an H&R). Great little gun, super reliable. I'm not gonna lie, for a shotgun there's nothing like a pump. One shot = one shot with the break. I'd much rather the extra few just in case... but I'd not sell my break, no chance of that. XD

So I'd say go for it. I got mine brand new for around $100 several years ago. It's probably a bit more now, but can't be too bad.

Oh, and those pics are awesome. I need some bolts sooooo badly. As I've said before, bolt action = my favorite, and I don't even own one anymore. XD

How is your pizza skillz?

Also, dunno. Never had it happen.

Though for some reason, the Monk episode "Mr. Monk and the Rapper" came into mind...
