Step Brothers: Unrated Version

It was...profane. And...actually pretty funny. Filled up my lulzometer almost halfway, which is decent. Far better than Talladega Nights, which was turrible.

The Muppet's Christmas Carol

I'm honestly amazed that I don't hear the songs from this movie on the radio, because they absolutely deserve to be a part of our cultural Christmas music. It's fantastic. Of course, the movie is great and one of my favorites. Some subpar acting from Michael Caine, but...honestly, it's a Muppet film.

I disliked the wife in this one TONS. I miss the other woman from 1 & 2. The son actor was weird, but it was still a fun movie. YETIS.

Epic. Guillermo del Toro is awesome.

School For Scoundrels

The unrated version. I'm not sure what to think about this movie. It was probably one of the most inconsistently funny movies I have ever seen. Some parts made me laugh out loud, but many were just painful. The main character didn't deserve anything inflicted on him. It could have been so much better.

It was...

...wow.

It was...really, really good. And powerful. And strange. And...I think I need to see it again. An amazing reflection on our mortality. I can't rate it yet, because I haven't thought through it all yet.

Wow.

Yeah...it was really good. I think it lived up to all the hype I heard.

The Joker...was extreme. Good, and freaky. I can see why Heath Ledger was lauded.

Ricky Gervais's comedic timing is matched with a smart script and directing. I was very much looking forward to it after seeing the trailer, and I am left content.

Um, let's see.

White Christmas. Never really loved this movie, but it's serviceable, especially for the always enjoyable Danny Kaye.

Tim Burton's Corpse Bride. A good mixture of colorful and garish.

Beetlejuice. Honestly, I thought it was incredibly stupid and a waste of time and Burton's talent.

Very real, very poignant tale of a brother and sister trying to take care of their dying father. It was really a beautiful film in every aspect.

ABOUT TIME! Wow, this amazed me in every way, shape, and form. I am so glad I got this movie for Christmas. It really makes me view things with a different point of view, be that a good or bad thing, I'm not sure.

Yours, Mine, and Ours (remake). Doesn't hold a single candle to the original. I like Dennis Quaid in the role about as much as Henry Fonda, but Rene Russo simply pales in comparison to Lucille Ball. Of course, most people do. Aside from that, this remake

Mission Impossible 2. I left before it was over, because I couldn't care less. Nothing I haven't seen before.

Resurrecting the Champ. Although the details of the story were a bit sub-par, I really, really enjoyed this film. Josh Hartnett gives a passable performance, but Samuel L. Jackson really delivers a knockout punch. Lame pun intended. To some extent I actually cared for many of the characters in the film, which is quite a feat.

Slow, boring, and odd.
