Also, I liked Zooey Deschanel in Elf, and I wouldn't say she was bad in this, but she and Jim Carrey just didn't have a lot of chemistry.
I think partly because he's a good 20 years older then her. I'm not sure if he was supposed to be the same age as her in the movie, but I agree, they really didn't click well.

Good for how fast it was shoved out after Wall-E.

Um... wow... o_o This movie was... devastating, intense, intriguing, and... just incredibly amazing in every single way. I love it.

Also... I officially love David Fincher.

I thought it was. I guess the Pixar logo was for the dumb short.

It was good without Pixar anyway.

Death Race

One of my favorite mindlessly entertaining action pics. I love cars, and I love guns. 'Nuff said.

Panic Room

Another fantastic Fincher movie. I loved the directing style, and it was consistently thrilling and not too long. Had me on the edge of my seat, which doesn't happen terribly often.

B+

Sin City

I used to think it was decent, but revisiting it over a year after first seeing it has propelled it to my Top 10. It's a stylish, tragic epic that almost brought me to tears this time. Yes, the content can be difficult to stomach, but everything else is just so incredible.

Back to the Future

Watched it on Netflix last night. I only remembered like 20% of it, but I can see why everyone thinks its a classic. This move rocks. xD

V For Vendetta

I love this movie. It's a good "discussion movie" to talk about the ideas it presents after viewing...

Thunderball

This wasn't the best James Bond movie I've seen, but it's certainly far from horrible.

I really liked the plot, but the underwater fight sequence was too long IMO.

An absolute masterpiece. Those are about the only words that can truly describe this magnificent film. A+

It's A Wonderful Life

My favorite Christmas movie, and officially number 5 in my all time favorite movies list, seeing this again was a joy. I did, however, for the first time realize how horrid the editing in the film is. I can't believe I never recognized that before. But, shabby editing nonetheless, this is a classic.
