Yes. Yes it is. For some reason, I liked the magic system he set up.
I'm reading Moongate.
A ridiculously complicated plot line that spins and revolves so many times it's ridiculous, only to end in a cliffhanger.
Yet...It's a favorite book of mine.

I'm reading tale of two cites now...first few chapters are a little dry. I like the writing a lot though.

Finishing up The Crystal Shard.
R.A. Salvatore rocks.

Streams of Silver by R.A. Salvatore.
He's easily the best fantasy author evar. Makes Christopher Paolini look like the Fall Out Boy of literature by comparison.

He was being sarcastic... Or did you already know that?
Yes well, any way, on topic. Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Hilarious books. Some content that was quite frankly gratuitous but still enjoyable.

The Diary of Anne Frank.
Have to read it for English. It is boring me now.

The Candlestone.
I enjoyed DIOM, though most may not have.

I read the first two and loved them, and then, a while later I picked up the third one and asked myself, 'Why did I like this?' I found the writing to be amateurish, and dull. But hey, everything has its fans, I'm just not one of them anymore.
I just read Criss Cross by Lynne Ray Perkins. I only got it because I thought it might be good considering it was a Newberry Medal book, and admittedly because it had a guitar on the back. I was not disappointed. Very interesting, and I think I just might pick it up and read it again.
I also read Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson, again. This has got to be one of my favorite books of all time. It has that disarming sensibility of being darkly funny, all the while making you really feel for the lead character.

To kill a cockatoo
It got a bit boring about halfway through when the birds stopped running wild(flying wild...), but the ending was terrific.

I just finished "Heart-Shaped Box" by Joe Hill (Stephen King's son) and am currently working my way through King's "On Writing." Hill's novel was compelling, pop-culture savvy and fast paced. I picked it up at around 7 last night and finished it at about 8:30 tonight. It was also horrifying. Ghost stories don't like me much, it seems. XD
I'm also trying to figure out what the next book of fiction I read will be. Should it be Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged"? Or how about Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child's "The Book of the Dead"? Or even Steinbeck's "The Grapes of Wrath"?

I picked up the Road by Cormac McCarthy at the library. Planning on reading it while up in Michigan for the weekend. I'll have the time.
