A very violent movie... with a lot of morbidly funny stuff thrown in. And it's also very gory. So yeah. Dunno what I think. Probably a B.
I want to see. :(

^ Although Jack Nicholson was great in Batman, to me, he basically played his crazy ol' self that he plays in most of his movies. If I was not told that Heath Ledger played the Joker in Dark Knight, I never would've known.

Howl's Moving Castle. This is my first venture into Miyazaki films, and it's unquestionably one of the weirdest movies I've ever seen. However, it was great fun, and just the thought of Christian Bale yelling in the studio, "What's the point of living if I can't be beautiful!" cracks me up. B+

Ocean's 11. Great cast, great pacing, great script. I love it. A-

I agree with you but I haven't seen many of Heath's movies but he did transform himself quite a bit

Each actor is fantastic in his respective movie, because each man fits a different tone. It's almost unfair to compare them.

I just watched Step Brothers again. So funny.

Same. I hate when they ruin books. I mean, come on! Susan, the wimpy pacifist, fighting? Not to mention the crappy romance, which is weirder considering Caspian was supposed to only be Lucy's age.

B-

Oh, and it minotaurs.

One of the best morality plays I've ever seen.

Two brothers who are in massive amounts of debt. They decide to rob their parent's jewelry store. The robbery goes really wrong. It's got a sex scene at the beginning that's kinda graphic... and was completely unnecessary. It's pretty short, though... so it's worth fast forwarding because the rest of the movie is so good.

Backdraft

Ron Howard is a genius director, and this movie is to exception to that. Unfortunately, weak acting kept this movie from being brilliant. Robert DeNiro was great, and Donald Sutherland was incredible in his two scenes, but Kurt Russel was just plain unconvincing, and he spoiled much of the film for me. It wasn't as bad as what Orlando Bloom did for his character in Kingdom of Heaven, but it was still a shoddy performance.
