Waiting--Trapt
I'm reminded how absolutely "meh" this band is. They aren't terrible and they aren't great. They just... seem so... bland.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

Full Circle--Drowning Pool
I think I like the new (third) vocalist better than any of the others. He's got a kind of grunge thing going on the slower songs, without losing any of the aggression that the band is known for in their harder, previous stuff.
In fact, much of the sound on this album reminds me very much of Dirt-era Alice in Chains. Which is a very, very good thing.

Really enjoying this album, but it is weak in some parts.

The Day that Never Comes - Metallica.
One of my few tastes of them. It's alright. *awaits to be beaten*

I stumbled across a burned copy of this today... gotta say, I hate the title of this song. Very redundant. But either way... it's decent music. And I'm starved for new music. Not that this is new, per se, but it's close enough.

The Great Disappointment--AFI
I can remember, a place I used to go.
Chrysanthemums of white
They seemed so beautiful.
I can remember, I searched for the amaranth.
I'd shut my eyes, to see.
Oh how I smiled then, so near the cherished ones.
I knew they would appear, saw not a single one.
Oh how I smiled then, waiting so patiently.
I'd make a wish and bleed.

In the past two days, I have fallen in love with Audioslave's Out of Exile album. It's pretty much awesome.
