I can sometimes tinker with the piano, but never received any lessons. I can't even read sheet music. My eldest daughter has been taking lessons, though, and she enjoys playing the piano quite a bit!

No, other than singing, I don't do any musical instruments whatsoever. And aside from wanting to learn more about the recorder, I haven't really been tempted to learn one.

I've done it before, but it isn't an experience I recommend. I try to have sandals on at least when walking over the snow, but boots are a must if you're going to do any trailbreaking.

I enjoy it, though I never go very far. I would literally get an 'idiot' stamp for getting frostbite in northern MS. XD

If your chili has been sitting out so long that it's turned green, you probably shouldn't eat it. ;)

Otherwise, I don't think I've ever heard of it, let alone tried it. But I would imagine that it has cilantro, which would explain why - my wife abhors cilantro, almost to the same point where vampires abhor garlic. Put one cilantro flake in something, and it'll be instantly ruined, according to her.

Your wife is entirely correct. Yet I still love green (also sometimes called white) chili. It's chili made with pork or chicken, green chile's, and white beans. Sometimes people put hominy or tomatillos in. I prefer it to red chili, at least where hot dogs aren't concerned.

Not that much different than decorating for Christmas, actually. At least you get your living room back to normal.

What is scheduled for Tuesday the 17th? I know it's a day I'm looking forward to, but I won't go into reasons for that here....

I'm actually not a fan. My mom makes a pretty good one (by which I mean I can eat it without copious amounts of ketchup), but it's basically egg pie. No amount of cheese, bacon, or vegetables can redeem that. >_>

That can always make for an amusing story.

"My, Mrs. McGrew, you're looking positively resplendent today!"

*slap* "The nerve, young man!"

I was watching a video the other day where two guys confused 'castigator' with 'castrator' in the naming of a gun.

Which was endlessly entertaining for me, since I am apparently 12.

What position are you working at Wal-Mart?

That's actually pretty funny, really. Imagine if that happened in real life.

"Sir, you know the enemy army?"

"The one that stole our plans for the gun that Lt. Meyers misnamed? What about it?"

"Well... they just surrendered. Apparently, most of their soldiers deserted...."

I'll be working for the produce department, in the meat and deli section. My first day of orientation begins in just a few hours. Thank you for the advice! Wish me luck....
