I've always wanted to visit the one in Texas, redneck as that sounds. XD The one in the Memphis Pyramid is pretty amazing, though. It's basically the outdoors, indoors. The first floor is taken up by several large ponds, filled with various fish, boats, wooden piers crossing the water and various shopping stations set up on the "shoreline". Then there's a huge aquarium, cypress trees stretching to the ceiling, and America's tallest freestanding glass elevator (which is a nightmare to ride, by the way).

It's the most fun you can have in Memphis for free. Except for the elevator, which oddly costs money to ride.

Sounds interesting. However, here in Idaho, there's probably about half a dozen, smaller stores like that in the nearby "city" alone. Maybe not the ATVs or other vehicles, but even Walmart has an extensive selection of hiking boots and fishing lures to choose from.

Plus, we have Tri-State Outfitters.

Hmmm... good question! I like Elf (one of the few Will Ferrell flicks I like) but A Christmas Story is good, too. Another good one is Muppets Christmas Carol. There are a lot of good films to choose from!

I would shop there. ^_^ We have several smaller sporting goods stores here too...Bass Pro is just the best, from a shopping experience standpoint.

Oh, I can certainly relate to that! I can handle one thing at a time. But if everyone is trying to talk to me at the same time and I'm trying to get something else done... just leave me alone!!!!

That's one reason why I've never played any of those restaurant management sims, where you have to cook food and deliver it to customers. Too much going on at the same time.

Living nativities?

I've never been to one, but I've heard of them. They sound like a neat idea! Around here, though, it would be a very chilly job, if it was outside. Temperatures dropped into the negatives here last night. Brr!

It was 70 degrees here. -_- And then it whipped around today after remaining in the 70's, and dropped 40 or so degrees in a matter of hours. XD

However, living Nativities are fun. A local church had one the other day and it was pretty sweet.

I con't say that I've ever had that problem. I've never had that many gifts to wrap at one time.

I tend to be the wrapper for my entire family, so most of the gifts get shuffled in my direction to wrap. I don't mind, since it gives me an excuse to watch Star Wars, a Christmas tradition. XD

Only slightly. I think I got burned by the first two "prequel" movies. I haven't seen any of the films since that one - and can barely remember the prequels, even - and have little desire to do so.

I had to look that up. I've never even heard of it! They sound interesting, though.

Are you of Greek heritage? I have Scottish heritage, and although they are known for their culinary history, it isn't in a good way.

I am not; my mom was very interested in Greek culture in her 20's, and hung around a Greek orthodox church, where she learned from a group of little Greek ladies the ins and outs of cooking. Tiropitakia, spanikopita, and baklava are a part of our Christmas menu for traditional reasons. ^_^
