School of Rock.
Wow. That movie was so funny. Probably because of all the nods to rock music in the soundtrack. I actually recognized almost all of the music. The plot was a little unbelievable, but that was part of it's charm. I loved the scene where the principal is drunk. So funny.

Somewhere between a B+ and an A.

In the words of the guy who recommended it to me:

"Oh man, you gotta see it. It's messed up. But you gotta see it."

Oh bliss! Bliss and heaven! Oh, it was gorgeousness and gorgeousity made flesh. It was like a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now. As I slooshied, I knew such lovely pictures!

I saw Indiana Jones and the kingdom of the crystal skull.

Still as good as ever.

This movie never fails to crack me up.

The Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King.

B/b]

I just find some of the acting really cheesey.

Um...okay. Actually, I really do understand you. Parts of those films really are cheesy. It fits with the genre. So you almost have to be in the right mood.

But I do have to disagree with your rating, simply because...well...those films are amazing. Absolutely amazing, breath taking directions of what happens when nearly everything goes right in a trilogy. Granted, they are not without some flaws (the three or four endings to King come to mind), but those films still, after however many years, continue to leave me in awe.

I agree. But I think the ending of the book had more of an effect on me, if you know what I mean. Seeing "The End" in the middle of the page left me in more awe than the movies.

Anyways... I think I saw "Armageddon" last.

I'm kind of glad that they didn't have the scouring of the Shire in the movies though. A lot of people were upset about that, but I think I like the decision to keep the Shire innocent and pure from the touch of Mordor.

Anyways, I watched Open Season last night. I hated it the first time I watched it. This time..it was okay.

Hancock

Will Smith is always a good actor...and he can play many different parts...thats why I like him. IDK the movie on a whole was good but not good enough not exactly sure why.

88 Minutes

A good thriller. Just kinda was cliched I think. Pacino was pretty good in his role too.

Ow... I consider 'A' a perfect score. And they weren't "Perfect". But the directing and landscape shots were incredible. And it's fun to be nerd about them. XD

Quantum of Solace

So. After some conversation with HG and Drew, I became convinced that I should see it again and look at it from a different perspective. All I can say is, thanks for talking some sense into me, you guys. Because I absolutely loved it this time around. Loved it. I picked up on more depth in the story, more depth in Bond's character, and even more depth in the action, as far as being able to enjoy it and not rolling my eyes at its constancy. I now consider it a fantastic sequel to Casino Royale.

Maverick

One of my favorite westerns (if you can call it that), as well as one of my favorite comedies. I haven't seen it in several years, so the jokes felt fresh and I laughed almost the whole way through. Classic.

Since you have now done that, I will purchase a ticket to the next Bourne movie when it releases.

We watched Glory in school. Great movie, very touching. If not slightly off on the accuracy. I still loved it.
