Bring it back.

The world could use more joy this time of year. I mean, overcoming all the terrible Christmas stories requires most of the goodwill floating in the air...
Christmas tree shopping?

I live in Idaho.

While I can go shopping for Christmas trees, it's more fun to get a permit, then head out into the woods and cut your own down. Cheaper, too.

We don't have any good firs here, sadly. I would love to do that, otherwise. ^_^
Tiny tree, or big tree?

I prefer smaller trees, myself. They're easier to put into place, and they do have a tendency to be CUTE!

The deuce. There's something about a short, somewhat forgotten tree covered with treasured ornaments that is just special.
The line between "enough" and "Oh...dang" is very fine, for prune juice?

I wouldn't know. The only prune juice I drink is carbonated and has the label "Dr. Pepper" on the outside.
And has changed a lot since it was first released as carbonated prune juice.

I did not know that...explains why I love Dr. Pepper so much. <3

I had to look them up. I've never heard of them, even though they are from Frito-Lay. They must not sell them around this part of the country.
According to Wikipedia, they are partially responsible for the origins of Cookie Monster. That's kind of cool....

They are very, very rare here. We have to buy them in Frito-Lay family snack packs, and we just found them in gas stations. They taste like very salty, potato crisps, similar to Pringles...I love them. <3
Styrofoam battle equipment?

I've never used this stuff. Fortunately, we live in peace with our Styrofoam brothers and sisters, and have never felt the need to do battle with them. I understand that there are certain parts of the world where Styrofoam citizens have been misled and are indeed a threat to humanity, but those in this region have proven to be quite peaceful - benevolent, even.

Admittedly, the fault is perhaps ours; we used to break them into pieces and shove them into shipping boxes.
I mean, I would take exception to that.
Bass Pro?

Ugh... the one sport more pointless than NASCAR. Sit around in a boat for hours with a line in the water? No thanks.

You guys don't have
Bass Pro Shops up there? O_o It's a really cool store. Especially the Memphis Pyramid Bass pro, which is sort of a redneck museum.
It's not a real Christmas story unless there are at least five divorces, three orphans, and seven deaths?

Can't speak for Idaho, but here in Oregon we only have Cabela's as a "redneck" outdoor store. Which isn't bad, but I kinda prefer Bass Pro Shops.

Just sayin, the Grapevine Texas Bass Pro is amazeballs.
Just looked it up, nearest Bass Pro to me is in Tacoma, WA. Too far for a shopping trip, lol.
Finding motivation to write is hard sometimes? I keep trying to sit down and write, but I can never get my ideas down in a way that makes me satisfied. It's like stuff happens too fast to write down efficiently, and then when I look back on what I did write, it's complete dreck (Or is so high level that it's almost unintelligible). Couple that with a general sense of "I don't think I'm any good at this" and...yeah. T'would be nice to have a group of friends who could be an accountability group for each other to keep writing consistently, though most of my friends (Not counting the people on this forum, of course) are even less able/willing to devote the time to writing than I am, so I'm basically relying on myself to stay motivated. And I'm not good at that. XD

I think I may have heard the name before, but that's about it. I still wouldn't be interested in going into one, since I don't like fishing.

I don't remember reading about any of those in the Bible about Jesus' birth....

But if you're writing a book like that, I think it could be interesting!

I don't think I would be a good person to suggest how to stay motivated,
since I've lost the motivation to write myself. The best I can suggest is to just write anyway, even if you're not impressed with the results. You can always fix it when it comes to the editing process.
