Hitchcock version? Yes. Man, that movie nailed the art of horror that modern movies cannot seem to find. It's not the scariest movie I've ever seen, but the word horror fit's it plainly. Very few, if any, movies I've seen can get that.
I've not seen the remakes though.

I think so. Could've just read the title wrong. I know there are sequels though. I...don't even know how, or why you would do that though.

Perhaps the only one in a movie that doesn't gross me out.
More to the point, that scene is so freaking unexpected. Second, perhaps, to the guy getting knifed. But still. It's not something you look for to happen. I also hear the lady could never shower after that.
