Actually, though using an ax has a manly feel to it, I love chainsaws. XD Not only are they more expedient, they're also more fun. And, unlike a typical ax, they double as highly effective anti-zombie weaponry.

Upper arm strength is important?

I dunno. I do them with damaged muscle/bone structure. Usually, damaged by doing push ups. XD

Forgive my ignorance, but I have no idea what those are.

Also, as I just thought of it, doing push ups on your knuckles can be recommended for people with wrist issues. Perhaps look it up.

Diamonds are pushups forming a diamond with your thumbs and trigger fingers.

Elevateds are with your feet on a chair or something.

Diamonds sound like something the CIA invented as torture...I kinda want to try it. Elevated push-ups may actually be easier. Are they?

I just do standard push ups. With the occasional smash my face into the floor addition for fun.
