Depends on the job, tbqh.
I'd say on that list .308, because that way you can play with the fun mil surps and incendiaries.

What do you think of grenade launchers?
For me, it's a bucket of fun.

.308? Hmm. I've thought about that caliber a few times, but never really knew what it was good for. I know it can take a whitetail, but is that all?
Also, what do you think of this gun? It had a pretty good feel to it at the gun shop, and the action was as slick as butter.

A .308's usually considered plenty up to the black bear/moose size.
Heard good things about it, but you have less caliber choices, so it's really just what feels right to you.

Yeah, kinda what I was thinking. Only option there for me is the .308, and to be honest... .30-06 and .300 Win Mag would be my preferred cartridge.
Know of any good, cheapish scopes? ($50-$150 tops)
Doesn't have to be great... just Okay.

Specific scopes? Not really, I shop at Walmart for those....
I'll look around for ya though.

Ah, Okay. Doesn't have to be an awesome (and expensive) Leupold, just a scope that'll hold up under some heavier recoil.
Do you generally use scopes?

Since you ignorified my grenade launcher question, what do you think of
this sword?
I realize that I could buy
one of possibly higher quality, but I really like reverse edge katana's.

Woops, sorry I missed.
Um, they're a bit over-priced, and all you can get is practice, smoke and hornets nest ammo.

I actually prefer iron sights.

IMO, the reverse blade sword is a bit over priced, as is the other.
Here, there is some nice quality pieces at more realistic prices, though I don't recall any reverse edge blades.

I prefer iron sights depending on whatever gun I'm using. Like my 30-30. Classic lever action. I just can't put a scope on that gun. XD
You ever heard of Bushmaster? They're a gun manufacturer, and the weapons they've got at our gun shop here... whoa. Look awesome.

I have, still waiting for the ACR.

Ah.
So you've been impressed with them too?

Somewhat, yes.
I'd get a Sig 556 or RobArms XCR over a Bushmaster AR-15 though.

Ah.
What's the cost differential on those?

The Bushmaster's I've seen are about $1000, and the other two are both about $1700
