Oh that’s just bloom, it happens if the temperature changes really fast. Actually, it’s perfectly safe to eat, but it just looks a little weird !

They do. They're made by Hammonds, and it's called a Pigs and Taters. XD It's tasty though, if weird. I'm planning on making some, so I can use good bacon.
