((Ironwizard-I'm not sure how to do your outro, if you want to write your character's final actions in the thread, bidding the party farewell or whatever you wish. Feel free to take creative license. Thank you for your time with us, I'm sad to see you go.

DollFace-I need to review your character sheet and integrate your character into the storyline.

Everyone-If there's something I can improve, please let me know. I would like this to be the best possible experience for everyone.))

Brokan is bewildered by his surroundings. His place is in the open air, not buried under rocks. Nevertheless, he performed his morning rituals faithfully, drawing power from the earth surrounding him. He knew the journey ahead would be difficult, and he was oath-bound to protect the group, so he channeled his mind toward the nurturing, healing side of nature. He felt the burn from where the undead creature he fought single-handedly had torn into him. I am no use to these people dead, he assured himself, as he directed the healing energies of nature toward himself.

((Brokan casts cure light wounds on himself, healing this much damage in addition to the 1 hp he regains from a night's rest:))

Feeling rejuvenated, his next order of business was rejoining the group.

((Well, I'm actively playing in 2 other games, and in a month and a half or so I'll be running one, and possibly playing in a 4th, so it's best that I step down, that and DollFace has been chomping at the bit to jump in. (My step-mother irl, so I get to hear about it :P)))

Kago stumbles off towards the nearest tavern, looking for a good mead to wash off the miles. After checking that he isn't drinking more Druidic Wine, he proceeds to enjoy himself in typical Dwarven fashion. While at the bar, he encounters a few other Dwarves and begins to make conversation, after all, he's been away form his home for a very long time. He finds out that while the gnomes are perfectly hospitable to the Dwarves, they worship their own god, and Moradin doesn't have a proper clergy in the city.

The next morning, as the party begins their preparations to leave, Kagor goes to break the news. "Well lads and lass, I'm afraid this is the end o' the journey for me. The Dwarves are without the guidance o' the Forgefather, and I'd be a sorry priest if I were to let them suffer so. ((Feel free to alter the following as needed, though I could get started on introducing DollFace)) Still though, I know ye will need divine guidance and support on yer road, so I negotiated with a traveler I met at the tavern last night. She be more than capable o' tending to yer wounds, physical and spiritual. Best o' luck me friends. If ye ever need a good Dwarf Hammer, ye know where to find me."

((Sorry it's a lame outro, out of ideas atm.))

((Actually Ironwizard, that was a great outro and makes sense form Brokan's perspective. I actually like it very much. Perhaps your character will remain as a faithful NPC if the party returns to the city. If you wish to take him up at a later date, let me know. You've been awesome, I hope all goes well with your other games. You rock!))

Sitting outside of an inn, Livia looks up from a book as a group of people walk by. She notices that they are different, not only because they are not all dwarves and gnomes but because they are wearing armor and carrying packs and weapons. She is about to dismiss them when she catches a glimpse of the warrior's forearm. There seems to be a faint glow coming from it. She places her hand over her chest, rubbing gently where her own mark is. She has other tattoos but this one... this one is different. Not only did she not get this one willingly but it was blue and glowed. She stood up and began to follow the group, trying to find a way to ask one of them about the mark that one of the men had. She follows them to an inn where she meets the dwarf that was with the party. She questions him about the mark and although he doesn't give her a lot of information he does suggest that he introduce her to the party, maybe she could join them. She agrees and follows the Kagor to the others. She smiles big and her blue eyes brighten when she notices the human paladin. The other fighter is also nice to look at but there is something different about him. He seems....almost dangerous and definitely more severe and serious.

She has been boy crazy since as long as she could remember. She has always appreciated men and enjoyed being around them. They usually display an enjoyment of having her around. She throws her long brown hair, pulled into a braid, behind her back. Her pointy ears clearly visible. They are not like elf ears but slighter, making it clear that she is a half elf. She is short in stature. She smiles brightly toward the party.

"Hello everyone! I am Livia. I heal with the powers of Ehlonna and I hope to join your group.

She winks at Guy as she awaits a response.

Brokan was taken aback by Kagor's abrupt decision to leave and the arrival of Livia. Brokan had sword to his mentor that he would get this group to the tower safely, and now the group had already splintered. Was Brokan obligated to persuade--or try to force--Kagor to remain with the group? No, it was best not to go down that road. Kagor could choose his own path.

Brokan then considered Livia. He was wary of newcomers. The last thing he needed was a potential wolf in the fold. Then again, Kagor vouched for her. Yet . . . how much weight could be placed on the judgment of a drunkard cleric dwarf?

"I am Brokan Mok of the Druidic Order," he said to her, simply.

EDIT: I used that brownish color by accident but I think it's fitting. I know, I know, I'm having trouble being consistent on that.

Kratimos puts a hand on Kagor's shoulder.
"May there be much ale and smashing in your future, my bearded friend. May Morodin, uh, something something your path." Kratimos fumbled the last bit of the farewell. He couldn't understand the dwarf's religious fervor; perhaps this is why he didn't fit in terribly well with the Paladins, either. Despite his ramblings about the Forge Father and nearly getting them stuck with laborious religious rituals, he had a good hammer arm and a stout heart. He smiled to the dwarf, but his face fell when he saw the new member of the group.

Another cleric? Kratimos tried shrugging it off. On one hand, she's a good sight better looking than Kagor, but on the other hand, he doubts she'd be as good of a drinking buddy. And yet another hand, she's been giving looks to the young paladin. Kratimos looks over to Guy to see his reaction.

Guy feels a swell of respect for their Dwarven friend. A man who put his deity at such a high priority was a man to be respected - always. At first it seemed the Dwarf had his priorities misaligned... this entire city would benefit more from a cleric who helped to accomplish this mission, but he had provided a substitute, and...

His mouth immediately becomes as dry as the most arid desert known to man. She was absolutely stunning to the eyes of a man who has lived almost entirely among other men for most of his adult life. The Order never trained women for front line battle, and he had lived mostly in barracks and later, dormitories entirely populated with men, as a way of focusing the pupils on their spirituality and battle skills. He was unused to the presence of females, and certainly unused to ones as fair as this one. He struggles to keep his eyes on hers, and not notice her face, her hair, her shape....

He blinks, had she been giving him a look? Surely not... although Guy's experience with ladies went only so far as a brief dance with a priestess three years prior, at a celebration festival. Members of his order weren't merely chaste, they were celibate... at least at the lower ranks, but even at higher ranks they rarely married. Following the path of the Lord of Battles as no vocation for a husband and father.

And he just manages to convince himself he'd mistaken her intent when she winks at him.

"Er... we would be thigh... er... highly honored... Thank you for coming to take Kagor's place... He acts honorably, and has the brea... er... best... interests of his people at heart." Her eyes are so blue... "Are you... ready to depart...?" He struggles to get some moisture in his mouth as his voice cracks. He looks to Kratimos for rescue.

"Well met, Brokan Mok."

She smiles big at him and bows slightly. When she does, the collar of her tunic moves down a little to reveal a small area of her brand. She straightens up, extending her smile to Kratimos. She looks back at Guy as he speaks, still smiling but a softer one.

"I need to go back to my inn room to gather my things. I will be hasty."

She flashes another smile to the party and scurries off toward the inn.

Unsure whether to admit he noticed it, Guy decides it's better to speak.

"She has the brand. This was no chance meeting."

Kratimos offered no assistance to the stammering paladin, but was thoroughly amused by his reaction; it was everything he hoped for.
"Alright, it's fine by me." Kratimos gave in but his demeanor became serious, "But don't forget what I said about trusting less people."
His voice lowered.
"If she turns out to be less than honest in her dealings, I will not hesitate."

Livia returns a short time later, armor donned, morning star at her belt, bow and quiver on her back. Part of her was worried they would leave with out her. She did just pop out of nowhere and ask to come along. She was relieved to see that they waited for her.

"All ready."

She looks at Kratimos with a smile. "How are you known, Warrior?"

She then turns to the human woman with the group, still smiling. "And you?"

Her gaze then falls back on the paladin. She smiles at him differently. "And you, Fair Paladin. How are you called?" She winks at him again.
