Well, I've been drooling over the Chris Reeve Inyoni for a while now, and CRK is pretty much one of the most respected knifemakers around. Just don't know if I could justify another small knife.

So...my Grandpa's looking at buying me a crossbow, what think you?

Nice knife, though there's no way I'd pay that for a partially serrated blade. Just... not my thing, those. XD

Your grandpa rocks. o.o

Any idea which one you'd want?

Well, those aren't your average serrations. CRK is known for incredibly easy to sharpen and well made teeth. And considering it's designed for disjointing small game, they may come in handy.

And not sure, haven't seen what the store has.

What do you think of these Kellams?

Ah. That's one of the biggest issues I have with the serrated blades. They're an absolute pain to sharpen. It'd be cool if there's an exception, though.

And those are pretty sweet looking. I'd go with either the 7" or 5.7". <_<

Though the description makes me lulz:
KELLAM WOLF PACK TRACKER

5.7" CARBON BLADE

HRC 59
DARK STAINED CURLY BIRCH HANDLE WITH BRASS FITTINGS

THESE ARE REALY NICE.

COMES WITH A DEEP LEATHER SHEATH WITH PLASTIC INSERT AND BELT LOOP.

THIS KNIFE IS RAZOR SHARP..WITH A EASY TO SHARPEN SCANDI GRIND.

HIGH QUALITY MADE IN FINLAND
XD

Weird. But Oompa Loompa's are awesome. They throw great parties.

Lace?

And they float about. o.O

Lace? As in... clothing lace? I'm not a lacy kind of guy. <_<

Yeah, just need to decide between one of them and that Bowie. Should be an easy choice, considering the price difference, but I love Scandis.

The conqueror worm?

Yeah. Those bowie knives... lemme tell ya, they're tempting to me atm. Make a good hunting/woods blade.

The oily bard catches the warm. >_>

So, there's a coon in the restaurant dumpster. Since it's in a busy area, a .22 is out of the question, so I plan on a pellet rifle. Problem: it's power is somewhat in question, since the coons here are like dog-sized. So...after a wounding shot, I knife charge

What say you?

Eh... be careful with a pellet rifle and a coon. I shot one of the coons we caught (got a few this past week) right in the stomach and he did nothing but growl and look at me. He was pretty massive too, though.

Head shot worked fine, though. :P

Do you have a bow? Or at least aim for the eye.

I do, but no broadheads, so it would be wound and charge either way.

I suppose I could pick up some, but the Walmart stopped selling archery gear, and the nearest sporting goods store is an hour and a half away.

How about a spear?

Why not just grab it and use the knife? :\
