Maybe, maybe not.
Which is more annoying, white people who talk ghetto, or parents who dress their children like strippers?

Easily parents who dress their childrens like strippers. I mean, pasty faced weenies who try to be gangsta' are just funny. I mean...really funny. They don't even have to trip on anything, or fart in public. They in and of themselves are hysterical.Orodrist wrote:Maybe, maybe not.

Fun times. Especially if you plant a tag on someone and track them for the heck of it. XD Sadly, I don't have a GPS. Geocaching too.Orodrist wrote:GPS?

oic. Any reason why not? It's like Final Fantasy....fused with a high-school life sim.....and an awesome story to boot. Plus the fusion system pwns.
If it's the appropriateness that concerns you, try 4. It's less outright weird (No shooting-in-the-head) and from a gameplay standpoint is actually better than persona 3. I totally see why you wouldn't want to play the 3rd though....it's pretty insane. O_O
BTW, I believe the M ratings on 3 are barely deserved. Haven't gotten too far into 4 yet, but 3.....there are some Personae that have suggestive cards and portraits (But you don't generally see those unless you deliberately look at them) some of the cutscenes are kinda gross (lots of blood....but not near as much as some of the games you've played) some minor instances of language. (FAR less than most T games actually)
I understand the M, simply because it's more little things than one big thing, but I still feel it's not as bad as, say, any of the Quake games. Though you do have to be able to stomach weirdness to the nth degree. To say this game is as normal as almost any game is to not tell the truth. It's beyond different from almost anything. If you're hesitant, try something on the DS instead, like Devil Survivor. Lesser rating, a little less supernatural, and just as much fun. (If not more dated graphics)
Anyway, those are my opinions on the series. Take them for what you will, your opinions are different from mine. (I probably will review them if I ever get around to beating them)
Also, don't forget the first question way up there.
Myst? (Subtle topic change. >.>)

Hmm...the reviews claimed there was more sexuality in them that. Weirdness I can handle, and the head shooting thing never really bothered me.
Really, just overt satanic stuff (put there in the spirit of gratuitousness) and sexual stuff is the only stuff that bugs me. I even know why, so it's not without reason. Otherwise, the plot overview and game style seems to fit nicely within what I'd enjoy.
Myst, sadly, I've never played. When it came out and I had opportunity, I was too stupid to understand it.
Now, I've just not thought about it when I had fundage.

Well, spiritual stuff appears, but before you call it satanic, you might want to examine Japanese culture. They call all spirits "Demons." In this game, a Persona is just that, a reflection of yourself. The game is....pretty Godless actually. (And by Godless, I mean no mention of God, good or bad) Some of the higher demons are called Gods because they are really powerful, but they don't fit the definition of the word. I DO recommend staying away from the main SMT series though, if the occultism bothers you. SMT gets really occultic by comparison. Even darker too.
Has I helped?
BTW, you can have romances, but they aren't explicit. Just dating....plus it takes lotsa work to do it. XD

Perhaps a bit. I dunna think I'll be picking it up any time soon, but I'll definitely think it over. It's inbuilt in me to be wary of RPG's. Especially after reading the reviews...

You may do so, but I'ma not link you until after you complete the game for yourself.
Not because I'm a jerkweed, but for reasons of my own.
You'll thank me later.
