But once I start watching, you guys will definitely be hearing from me.

I finished Angel a couple of months ago, and from what I've seen of Buffy (up through Season 6) I'd say Angel becomes the better show. It really gets good in Season 2, and Wesley (believe it or not) becomes one of the best (if not the best) characters in the Buffyverse.

*does pinky finger thing*
Then you're probably right. Because Season 7 is, in a surprising amount of places, really, truly terrible. I'm not saying you shouldn't try to watch it. Through the first 10 episodes, I thought it was going to be the best season yet. But then Joss Whedon got so caught up in his feminist message that he basically ruined the final season. Moron.
And my friend told me that, with the things they do with Wesley's character, I basically won't be able to recognize him from Season 1 later on. So I basically really need to start Angel.

Dexter. Great show, in small doses anyway. When I watched a few episodes back to back of Season 1, I started having creepy dreams.
Also, I started watching House with my girlfriend. Wasn't sure if I could get into another show after coming down from The Wire, but I'm enjoying these.

Didja like it?
I enjoy trying to find ways to use Firefly quotes in real life. There are so many good ones.
And I watched Bones. That series is going downhill. First, the little crazy killer lab assistant got locked up, and then Angela and Hodgins broke up, and they caught the Gormagon killer. Who was an extremely interesting villain.

Saw the pilot episode of Dollhouse, a new series created by Joss Whedon. I quite enjoyed the pilot, to be honest. It did a decent job of setting up the show and establishing who the characters are. This show has a lot of potential, both for good and bad. My only hope is that Fox is smart enough to let Joss Whedon do his thing and actually give him a couple seasons. He deserves
that much.
Also, three cheers for a new Joss Whedon series.
