There Will Be Blood

Deep, brilliant, difficult to watch but Daniel Day Lewis lays waste to all other actors and their talents with one of the greatest performances in the history of Hollywood.

True Lies. Surprisingly, I didn't really enjoy myself. Of course it was 3 in the morning. But none of the jokes were all that funny, and the action was so cliche. It was, in effect, making fun of itself, but I didn't find it all that amusing. C+

Terrifying and disturbing. I will never look at Christian Bale the same way again.

Batman. I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this movie, I've heard that it was dark, but pictures that I saw of Jack Nicholson's Joker told me otherwise. Needless to say it was an interesting experience, but I think I prefer Batman's realistic portrayal in Nolan's film series. Still, it's a solid B-

The Departed. Okay, I only half watched it because I was running on about four hours of sleep from the previous night and it was around two in morning. But what I did see of it, I greatly enjoyed. No rating..yet.

Frankly, I thought it was alright. Considering I expected it to suck, that's not bad at all. I mean... it wasn't a terribly original movie (in regards to the underlying ideas)... but it was still enjoyable.

Uhm. Wow. I haven't figured out what to make of it yet... much less how to respond beyond the simple "wow."

It was better than everyone said it was. I laughed a few times.

I... uhm... thought the movie was rather funny. I think retail experience helps. Also... I saw it opening night with some friends... in a theater full of junior highers. Since a bunch of the humor went right over their heads... I laughed even harder yet.

Good times.

Hancock was a tremendous disappointment.

I just watched Big Lebowski. The Dude Abides.
