Street Kings
Only watched about 10 minutes or so (of the end! -_-), because the parents had failed to inform me that it was playing. >_>
It was eerie of how similar it was to Training Day, and I found out later that they both had the same writer. Both of these movies were good, however I think I like Training Day a bit better than this. But I'll have to see the whole thing before I make any conclusions.
What was the last movie you watched?

Futurama: The Beast With a Billion Backs
Two words: Freaking. Hilarious. I loved it.
Easily on par with some of the best from the show.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

Pretty fun movie, but very violent. Nic Cage didn't do his typical freakout, which allowed for more respect points from me. The love story was a bit cheesy, though necessary, so I'm not sure if it detracted from the movie or not.

Batman and Robin
Wow. That movie was so ridiculously horrible. And so ridiculously fun to watch. Just what I needed. Something so horribly idiotic, stupid, and mindless that I can enjoy it and forget everything. It was awful. The camera work, the sets, the clothing designs (bat nipples?), the acting, the fight scenes, the script, the directing, the chase scenes, the plot...it was all bloody awful. Which made it awesome.

And now you know why I was saying, before Batman Begins came out, that the only reason we knew it would be good was because there weren't any bat nipples.

It was nice not to see blood and cussing for a change. Overall a creative movie in terms of the Camera and fantasies and stuff. The Storyline was meh. Jodie Foster is amazing in her roll. Really smartly acted. I don't think I like Abigalle Breslin... Then again I don't like any young actors really. I liked it. It was really the best movie but it was fun to watch.

It was funny and definitely clever. Most of my laughs came from Robert Downey Jr. Absolutely priceless to see him playing a guy who's playing a guy. So many awesome lines from him.

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. I watched the unrated version, so it was slightly more naughty than it would have been, but I was surprised at how tame it was compared to what it could have been. Otherwise, it's another ridiculous comedy with stupid people and many cameos that always seems to find some sort of enjoyment with me. But Steve Carell completely steals the show. B-

Mission: Impossible
Definitely not as good as what I was hoping for. I'd seen the second two in reverse order (don't ask me why, it just sort of happened that way), so I really didn't know what to expect in the first - a more intelligent thriller, heavily based spy action, or a mixture of both. Well, it leaned more towards the intelligent thriller than anything, the problem being it was farther from intelligent than it should have been.
So, MI III still remains to be favorite of the three Mission: Impossible films, with I only slightly ahead of II just because II sucked (mostly because Tom Cruise had long, flowing hair).

I agree, MI:II was dreadful.
Being John Malkovich
One of the most bizarre and unique movies I've seen, and I've seen a lot. Probably one of my favorite "fantasy" films. A-
Reservoir Dogs
A little bit disappointing. It feels more like a small project than a full-fledged film, and the scope seemed to be lacking somewhat. I think it could have used another good 15 or 20 minutes to give it a meatier plotline, but as it stands it's still Tarantino. And Tim Roth was excellent. B

Lars and the Real Girl
One of the most sweetest and most touching movies I've ever seen. The filmmakers took a concept that could have been completely ludicrous and turned it into a remarkable romance. Ryan Gosling is a fantastic actor, and this is definitely going on my top 10.
