Lemme just say this: It's very inappropriate, and I don't recommend anyone here see it. Still... I lol'd... a lot. Stoner comedies (I'm calling 'em that)... are just... odd.

Favorite lines in the movie: "Dude, where's my car?" "Where's his car, dude?"
I can't believe how stupid the second one was. Funny, some. But wouldn't recommend that one either. XD

So, didn't like it quite as much as I did the first time. Probably because I consider the music in the film to be just "okay." If I liked it more, the film would be much, much more liked by me as I love the story and the characters. So, it lost a few points from me this time around.

Solid but not outstanding. It felt like an extended episode of the series... I feel it would have done much better with a TV treatment, instead of a theatrical one. Some corny performances (especially from Amanda Peet) really brought it down, but a decent script helped things out. Sadly, there was hardly a climax. Not something you'd expect from a summer movie like this. Oh well. I can still remember the show.

Well, It's the X-Files.....What were you expecting?

I expected a Fight-the-Future-style movie that revolved around monsters. I got something else.

Well, would it be worth $5 to see it?

Or should I wait until it's 50 cents?

Enjoyable movie. Over the top, corny, cliche'd, but fun. Definately worth the $2 I got it for.

Dude. I pay about $5.50. Wherever you are, you're getting ripped off.

10,000 BC.

It...really wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. It was incredibly unoriginal. The action scenes ripped off Jurassic Park, King Kong, and even a little bit of 300. But it was still somewhat entertaining, and I was taking it at face value I enjoyed it to a certain extent. Not the most original thing around. But something to look into on a rainy day.

Shockingly inappropriate and rude, juvenile, and filled with uncomfortable moments. But it was incredibly funny. It certainly had it's jokes that were too unpleasant to laugh at, but the laughter-worthy ones left me sore with mirth.

You know, that got horrible reviews... but I'm thinking it's one of those that you really enjoy if you're not expecting much. I'll have to give it a shot.

...why do you keep doing things to make me hate you, Zak?

Why?

WHY?!

I'm in the same boat as Drew. -_-

Wow. I haven't watched a movie in a while. O_O

Last one I can remember...

Last half of Tears of the Sun.

I have no idea why it got bad reviews. It wasn't the best by far, but it wasn't the worst by any means. However... I hadn't seen all of it, and I was preoccupied with other things while it was on, so I couldn't give it my full attention. And thus... I don't think I can rate it.

Heading to the movies tomorrow at 10am. They got a free PG-movie thing for the Regal's here so my brothers, me, and his school friend will see Jimmy Neutron... or some no-name animated flick.

In Fairbanks, it's $7.00 bucks matinee, and at night it's $10.25. ;) Lousy popcorn for like 7 bucks for an extra large (the only one that gets ONE refill) and mainly flat soda for $5.50 (ONE refill as well). Cheaper just to wait for Blockbusters and get some Wal-Mart 2 litres and 15 bags of popcorn for like 10 bucks total. 28 bucks for four people to see Indy 4 (bleh) and it's the last time I will ever buy everyone's ticket. T_T) A female friend from school was willing to pay my way for the Dark Knight sometime this week, but she was sick today. T_T

Wow. I'm amazed. And I thought I was still paying too much. Wait. I AM still paying too much. At least for concessions.

Checked my ticket. $5.38 (with tax) for a matinee (which is pretty much all I go to), $7 something for a night showing. I can get a large, 48 oz. soda for $3.50, one free refill, and a large popcorn for 4 bucks. And I never get popcorn. So the most I usually end up spending at the movie theater is about nine dollars. Wherever you guys are, you need to demand lower prices. Because I know I'm going to when they raise the soda price to four bucks.

Oh. Just in case you're curious. I know a lady who is friends with a private restaurant owner. He said it costs his business six cents to fill up a 35 oz. glass of soda. So it has to be somewhere around there for everyone else. Fun, huh?

And the last movie I saw was...um...10,000 BC?

I got back from seeing Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. The first half on earth was rather dull, but when they began to make their own ships for space, it got fun and comedic.

Fargo

Another great one by the Coen brothers. It got very dark there at the end. Darker than I expected. But it was still very enjoyable and very funny, especially the first half. Fantastic film.
