I came back to say that that is all kinds of gross.

This will be one of the few posts I make here this semester because:

1. The work here is severely intimidating. Have had to read Thuclydides, Aeschylus, and Plato, and it's only the second day. Loved the reading, but now I have to apply it in colloquy and weekly papers. :/

2. The internet here really isn't that great, so even if I did have a quick moment of free time to post, the internet is not likely to work.

That said, I love it here. But please pray for me for three main reasons: That I wouldn't let the academic workload to get the better of me, I really need my loans to come through to continue my study for this semester (and go to Thailand when it's over!), plus the fact that I haven't really connected with any of those also on this study abroad journey. The last one isn't as important, but as a people person, I'm dearly missing my people.

Love you all (to those of you that read this thread), hope everything is going well. :)

Nice. :D Are you having a good time?

And taking advantage of all the fried fish you can get your hands on?

I am having an excellent time, but the amount of reading I have to do everyday is getting a little bit ridiculous.

I don't much care for fish, but I have had fish and chips once or twice since I've been here. :)

Nice. I think it's pretty much required to eat fish and chips if you visit Britland.

What type of reading are you requisite for?

Huge span, so far we've read the likes of:

Plato, Aristotle, Aeschylus, Virgil, Dante, Chaucer, Machiavelli, and much much more. This next week we get to read Shakespeare, so I'm super excited about that.

What's your take on the whole spleen vs. pancreas thing?

And...have you shaved your head and become a monk yet?

Gall bladder. No question.

Also, not shaving my head. Ever again. In fact, my hair is currently a shrub. I have a girl friend who is planning on shaving her's soon though. :/

She's uh...a little strange. She also has a bet with her brothers, but it's only a hundred bucks, half of which she's planning to donate anyway.

YES! I actually just back from Paris where I went for three days for my spring break. It was great, got to see a lot of good stuff, eat a lot of good food, and even got in touch with a friend that I hadn't seen in quite a while.

In London, though? Mostly just going to museums...I've more or less seen most of the major landmarks. At least, I think I have.
