What a coincidence, me too! I give it a flat A.
EDIT: Watched The Truman Show. Wow. Original, well-done, and actually had me almost shaking with anticipation. A+!

Akira
While I'm not necessarily a fan of anime or manga, I took a chance with Akira, much like I took a chance with Ghost in the Shell. And honestly... I'm not exactly sure what I just saw. I know it was amazing. But what did it all mean? And why did it have such atrocious voice acting? These are things I will ponder in the days to come.

Speed Racer
Well, the graphics and action was top-notch. The other stuff, uh, not really. A bit on the campy side I guess. This would make a good DVD rental though. Chim Chim! :O
B- (This is only because I watched the cartoon growing up. If not, it would be a flat C.)

Lars and the Real girl.
Uh...Weird movie. Some of it was touching, and even poignant. The rest just weirded me out.
I'll put it as my sister did, after watching the movie she said you want to say "Whuzzah happened?"
I also couldn't resist making a Chuckie joke afterwards, but only my sister got it.

I just saw Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
It felt like a true Raiders sequel, which I loved, since Raiders is my favorite of the bunch. The CGI seemed well implemented (in other words, it didn't seem very obtrusive until the very end), and the story was well done. However, it also felt weaker overall than the Abrahamic religion based films (Raiders and Last Crusade), even if the movie was a blast. Overall, though, it was pretty much in a dead heat with Last Crusade, with the previous movie beating it out only through inclusion of Sean Connery and John Rhys-Davies (Sallah). Third best overall.
B+
And I, like a true nerd, am seeing it again this weekend.

Just don't spoil it scotty, or I'll never forgive you!
I'll probably see it soon.
Anyway,
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Oh boy, what a mixed bag.
Good visual effects, and excellent acting, but they butchered the story so much, that I claim this to be the Worst Harry Potter movie thus far.
C-
Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker
Wow.
I'm seriously impressed with this movie.
Good action scenes, good effects, good story.
And My dad liked it.
Which is high praise indeed.

Oh yeah, I also saw Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets again.

See, now that is a good movie! I think it may have made me tear up when I was younger.
I watched
Dan in Real life.
It was OK. I've seen better, but I've also seen worse.

Bella.
Again, outstanding. I picked up more this time. It's definitely one of those movies you'll need to watch twice.
9/10.

I saw the new Indy movie last night.
I'm not giving it a score so as not to offend anyone, but I pretty much hated it. I tried extremely hard to accept it on its own terms, but I just couldn't do it.
Then again, I never was a big fan of Indiana Jones.
