Maybe.
I'd personally go for a Terminator style weapon system.

Does the thought of bio-mech humans give you the creeps?
Because it kind of makes me chill.

Not really.

The blending of man and machine doesn't give you any qualms?
Sure, I hope that the prosthetic technology increases a lot, because making paralyzed or people with missing limbs happy is awesome. But I would hate to see humanity completely dependent on mechanized body parts.

Well yeah.
Watch the Star Trek Enterprise episode "Regeneration," Malcom and Phlox have a nice little discussion on this.
Malcom: "I don't mind technology, as long as it stays outside of my skin"
Phlox: "If you got stabbed in the heart, would you want to me to replace it with an artificial implement, or would you rather die?"
Malcom: "That's different. Willingly replacing perfectly good body parts with artificial limbs.....it just doesn't make sense"
Yeah. I LOVE Trek.

Why not?
I mean, would you rather lift 200 pounds or a ton? Run at 20 mph or 50?

Watch the episode.
Please.
Resistance is futile!
There's your hint on why the discuss it like they do

The episode was OK, but what does it have to do with what I asked.

That's how I feel about it.
I for one, don't want to be dependent on machines that can and will fail.
Now, if we're talking an exo-skeletal system, then I'm all for that.

Oh yes, Power suits aren't a problem for me. Or if the suit somehow enhanced your strength, speed, ETC. I don't like the Borg.
Also, I'm a trekkie too. ^_^ But I skipped Enterprise as a series. Watched the first season, then quit for some reason. but if that episode happens to come one, you can bet I'll watch it.
Best Star Trek?
I go for Generations, but I missed DS9 as a child...

DS9 is decent...
But The next Generation gets my vote, and Voyager gets a close second.

Oh yes. Voyager ruled. It's a dream of mine to get every episode and movie of Star Trek on DVD.
243 1/2 hours of consecutive Star Trek?

It's all good provided you inject a few breaks for star Trek Games, and of course, stock all the food up you need.
I'd totally do that.......
If I could just get some more series on DVD.
(TNG, got every season)
