Incidentally, I didn't focus too much on my equipment, other than what I would choose at first level. I wasn't sure if you wanted to determine what items my character may have picked up while he's been adventuring, or if you were going to leave it up to me.
If it's up to me, then I'll start digging through my Book of Artifacts and make a list...

Tell you what, equip your character and I will look over what he has. Equip him with all non magical items only. We will go from there. If there's something I need you to change, I'll let you know.

Ok I finally started my upgrade.
Rolled craptastically for hit points, but c'est la vie.
I haven't done skill points... I know I get 20, but when buying ranks, is it 1 SP = 1 rank, or does it increase in cost as ranks increase?
I also couldn't find where it says how many feats I should have, so I held off on that too.
This 3rd Edition stuff... Pheh.

If I recall correctly, it is one skill point per rank for
class skills. For those that are not class skills, then it will cost two skill points per rank.

I think you - anyone - gets one feat at level 5. And an attribute point at level 4. Or it could be the other way around. In either case, barring anything specific from your class (you're a paladin, right?) you should be able to get one of each at this point.

Hey guys, I hope you're enjoying the story so far. If you wouldn't mind, please keep all posts and roll information enclosed in spoiler tags. You will all get a chance to read everyone's story but part of the fun is to keep it a secret for now.
If there's anything I can do better, please feel free to let me know.
Thanks!!

Hey everybody!
So where have I been? In the last three/four months, I took on a second job through the holiday season then I quit my primary job at what I believe is the Lord's leading with my last day being January 15th. I was in a sort of crazy period where I wasn't sure what was really going on or what the Lord was doing. Now I'm working at Best Buy full time and still a little confused but things are stabilizing and the Lord is faithful as always. I don't have the free time like I used to, but I enjoy working 8 hours a day and appreciate the time I have with my family.
Also, my wife is pregnant. We've been trying for almost a year now. At this time last year we had a miscarriage so now we haven't told too many people because we don't want to get too excited should this pregnancy turn out like the last.
The Lord is so good! We would appreciate your prayers in this season of life, since things are new and sometimes scary but the potential for a better future is far greater than what if would have been had I stayed at my old job and I truly believe that the Lord is in control.
I want to start writing again and find the play by post game an awesome opportunity to fellowship with great folks such as yourselves and practice a craft that I am so new to. My hope is to try to post once a day, probably after I get off of work (around 10 or 11 pm EST).
I have to find some of the files I have for the play by post, most of them I transferred to a hard drive before I had to turn in my company laptop. That's why I haven't used dungeon tiles. As soon as I get settled in, these should be apart of the game again.
Arctic, I've been knocking around an idea that is complete heresy but awesome in my opinion and I want to see if you would want to be in on it with me. Now that you read that creepy sentence and are unsure as to my purpose, I want to write some warhammer fan fiction stuff, but it's a totally different scenario than 40k....well kind of. I'll be happy to give you the details if you are interested.
You are all amazing, and I look forward to what lies ahead.
May the Lord bless and keep you all!
