DOOM...
As a movie? Terrible.
As a source of mindless entertainment? Awesome.

What are you talking about Fred? That movie was horribly stupid! I can't believe they even did a parody off of the Lord of the Rings.... they are seriously heading downhill in their new movies...
The old ones were DEFINITELY BETTER!

I agree! Everyone was talking about how hilarious the Lord of the Beans was and I couldn't believe how flat it turned out... There was just nothing...

Dave Chappelle's Block Party
Brilliant documentary, the best new movie I've seen in a theater for quite some time. (Keep in mind this is coming from a guy who generally does not enjoy hip-hop music.) The artists chosen by Chappelle for his party are fairly socially-conscious, more apt to sing about ethnicity and equality than booty and bling. While the music is great, it's Chappelle himself who makes the movie so enjoyable for me. The clips of him interacting with locals near his Ohio farm and playing with the crowd and artists in Brooklyn are proof positive that Dave is an extremely likable, enjoyable comedian who transcends race barriers. I'm glad my hip-hop loving friends drug me to that matinee.
A highly recommended movie, though if you're not familiar with Chappelle's humor some warnings are probably in order. Expect a fair bit of swearing and the most marijuana references the big screen has seen since the days of Cheech and Chong.

THE PINK PANTHER! Yes, the new one. It's HILARIOUS! If you don't like seom suggestive themes, I don't care. Go see it in theatres anyway. There were over a dozen little kids there.
