Those are pretty epic. Even the worst of them is better than some of the cheesier sculpts I've seen from big miniature companies.

I think the only thing holding 3D printing back form becoming mainstream is the cost of a good 3D printer and the cost of the material it uses to print. As those things come down, I suspect there will be a huge revolution.

Even now, like on sites that support people working on projects like my Space Marine suit, people are sharing the files to print out components for use on Space Marine costumes. In one case, we're even talking about the parts to build a power fist!

I'm not actually sure if the Gladius is broken or not. I was hoping you could tell me. XD

Late night talk shows need to die?

Meh. I'm indifferent to what's on TV these days.

There's a few shows I watch. Oddly, they all come on Monday and Tuesday. I've got nothing on the weekends.

When you repair, and it actually works?

Greatest feeling in the world. Just did that to my brakes last week...

The Dune series?

If yes, how far did you get?

All of it, including both prequel trilogies as well as the last 2, which were written by Frank Herbert's son.

What did you think of them?

I'm currently on God Emperor of Dune, and...well, it's exceedingly strange.

It gets stranger... but eventually things sort of go back to a more "conventional" feel in the aftermath of Emperor Leto. The last couple books also tie-in with the Butlerian Jihad prequels, so you might want to read those before getting to the end.

What are your thoughts on the Wulfen?

I think the story is pretty interesting, though I need to learn more about it. Sounds like maybe it's past time for the Inquisition to take a good, hard look at the Space Wolves in general.

Didn't the Inquisition try that during the war for Armageddon? :P

Sometimes you just need to sit down and cry for twenty minutes?

Yes, yes sometimes that is quite necessary.

Finally got around to starting Heretics of Dune. About halfway through, and Miles Teg is one of the more interesting characters in the series so far. The whole "no-room/no-globe/no-ship" thing is pretty cool too.

Is Duncan Idaho like the only character to be in every Dune book (Well, as a Ghola, but still)? Because they just keep bringing him back again and again.
