Forgot how good that movie was

I don't like it because Kentucky loses.

Haha. I'm a big UK fan. Even though I know the game was significant in many ways I don't like that they lost.

Good Will Hunting
I've already seen this three times, but I saw it at the library and I just had to pick it up again. Amazing story about a young man overcoming a traumatized past and striving for something better. Matt Damon is amazing in this, and Robin Williams was even better (won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in his role as the therapist, too). I love this film.

That movie was fantastic.
Enchanted
It was certainly a fun movie, and the songs are very catchy. I found myself laughing out loud pretty well at some bits. The ending kind of...sucked. Especially when Giselle threw the sword and...well, you'll see.

No Country for Old Men
I had very high hopes for this movie, and many of them were met. Javier Bardem did nothing less of astound me with his role; in fact, I thought that there was great acting all around. I loved the suspense, too; and the scenery and cat-and-mouse chase scenes were also superb.
*SPOILERS* ahead!
On the downside... I was fairly confused sometimes as I watched the movie, and I have to admit, it was pretty difficult to watch Chigurh kill innocent people. Which was probably why I looked away during one or two kill scenes. I wasn't too pleased with the fact that a lot of the good main characters got killed and Chigurh ended up getting away free, even if that does happen sometimes in real life. I confess, I'm a guy that likes it when the bad guy finally gets caught, or at least when the main character fails to catch 'im but still *lives*.
It was definitely a good movie, but besides the great acting, directing and shoot-out scenes, I didn't think it was as perfect as it's been made out to be.

Dan in Real Life
Like Enchanted, this was definitely a fun movie. Steve Carrell is just so freakin' awesome. At some times I really disliked his family (especially Cara, his daughter. "Noooo my boyfriend is going away for a WHOLE DAY! You're the worst parent ever, daddy! AND a murderer of love!" -_- ) It was kind of funny... Dan was the weirdest out of the family and yet the most normal; at least, that's what I felt.
I'll give it a...
B+, I think.

I Am Legend
This was my second time seeing it and oddly, in some parts it felt like I was seeing it for the first time. The first-half or so of the movie was brilliant, I especially liked the various mannequin scenes and how there were several subtle hints at Neville's insanity. However, the woman and child were kind of a letdown. It seemed that they were just tossed in as deus ex machina. Anyways, I'll still be buying this later.

I think bgball31, the title makes just as much sense in the movie as in the book. In the movie, Ana says "Your THE Robert Neville?" (or something to that extent) so it's hinted that he had somewhat of a fame surrounding him. Then Robert did what he strove to do throught the movie; find the cure. So in essence he is a legend in the colonies eyes because he not only saved the human race but he sacrficed himself too.
Movies I Plan On Seeing:
-
No Country for Old Men (I'm actually kind of dreading to see this for some reason. I think it's because it's one of those "Your joking, right?" movies.)
-
Enchanted (Aside from thinking Amy Adams is extremely cute, I don't really know why I want to see this movie.)
-
There Will Be Blood (milkshakes anyone?)
And I'm open to any suggestions. (Yes I have seen Good Will Hunting

)

Me too. XD
Let's see... I think we're going to try and rent
August Rush and
I Am Legend. If they're in, anyway.

Reign Over Me
Wow.
This is the best movie about dealing with loss that I've ever seen. It takes the drama, balances it with humor so as to not get too heavy, and the chemistry between Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle is absolutely phenomenal. This is officially going in my top five.

20000 Leagues under the Sea. The first one.
Dad made me watch it. It actually wasn't so bad.

Stephen Kings: The Langoliers.
You know, every time I see this movie on T.V. I think "Wow, that's Awesome! I remember the last time I watched it I loved it!"
After seeing, again (I've watched the movie three or four times and this happens) every time, I realize I wasted 4 hours of my life. The plot had holes, the action was cheesy, the graphics looked obviously fake (Even allowing for the time) and it was just out-right dumb. It smacked of 90's horror movie. The first half had a kind of 'horror' feel to it, that had even me peeking out the windows just to be sure, but part II was stinky. Plus, every character had a sob story! How many people do you meet that have a sob story and are willing to share it?!
Oh wait...We're in America.
The only redeeming quality, and it was VERY slight. You'll have to catch it in your mind afterwards, was one characters quest for atonement.
Can't recommend at all.

The Kite Runner
Such a hard movie to watch, and yet you can't help but smile as you watch the final scene. Really introduces Afghan culture.

It'd have to be.
See, I caught the "based on" disclaimer in the beginning of the second half, but by then I was already sucked in.

No Country For Old Men
*SPOILERS AHEAD!*
Well I just finished watching it, and it didn't really meet my expectations. The acting was great, and the guy who played Chigurh did a fantaastic job as the bad guy. Yet, the way the movie went was confusing to me. I didn't like how all of a sudden the protagonist was dead, how Chigurh lived, etc etc.
Sorry, this gets a B+.

While somewhat funny, it didn't impress me. From a technical standpoint, it was very good.

Enchanted
Very good, clean entertainment. I enjoyed it. Great acting on all parts, only flaw is that it is a parody of all Disney Princess movies.

I Am Legend.
I really liked this movie, and some points were really sad, but I liked it overall, even though some of my family members didn't like the ending.
