I listen to a mix of Christian and secular, though it's mostly Christian. Although my eyes are just starting to open to all the musical possibilities, and I like everything from bouncy pop to heavy metal.

These are the main bands I've been listening to recently:
Switchfoot
Paramore
Relient K
Nickelback
Linkin Park
Fort Minor
Skillet
My Chemical Romance
The Classic Crime
Demon Hunter
Newsboys
Lily Allen

The only thing that scares me about Blink-182 is their tendency to go....unclothed, shall we say?

You think that's scary, check out late-80s, early 90s Red Hot Chili Peppers. That's where Blink got it from. Yikes. Let's just say that Mr. Anthony Kiedis and one Mr. Flea are fond of... the buff.

Like I said before, I listen to pretty much everything. My taste in music has run the gamut from Christian rock to industrial to punk to New Wave to dark wave to goth to any type of metal to you name it. Right now, I'm listening to Dire Straits, She Wants Revenge, Demon Hunter (there's a trend here, isn't there?), AFI, New Order (I love 80s college rock), REM (see?), Bob Dylan, the Rolling Stones, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, and many many others. I've got over 3000 songs on my iPod, and I don't know if that's sad or not... :?

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

HEY! I liked their "Sodomizing The Virgin Vampires" CD!

Just kidding, of course.

But I listen pretty much only to secular music. Yep.

IMO RHCP has only changed their sound. Everything else, from the way they act to their song lyrics, is the same.

Nohoho... it's not the same. The sound isn't the same, the lyrics are... less explicit... and they are not going out on stage in tube socks every night.

They've eased up on the swearing, but they still sing about sex and stuff. Yes those socks were freakin' wierd. :P

I suppose they do still sing about sex, but it's with the power of metaphor. It's not what it was, and that's a very good thing. I mean... I can think of several songs from their early days that are more explicit than anything they'd release now. Call it.... maturity.

Yeah, they've gotten a little more mature...except when they played Suck My Kiss at woodstock...and stuff happened... :?

But, nowadays their all right.

EDIT: Let's keep the explicit details out of the forums, okay, Adam?--iamscott
