Feeling very "zen" today.

Hah, these guys were at the same festival I mentioned last post, and they put on one of the best shows of the entire weekend, which is saying something (Pearl Jam was there). If you ever get a chance to see Kongos live, take it.

Explicit Language, but... just awesome. I'm going to want to play a hipster card on this, but I liked them before they were cool.

Bruce, I'm super jealous. I missed out on seeing them. I think they were in Tuscon when I was in San Jose, and when I went to visit my friend in Phoenix, they played in San Jose...

Like I'm missing something, but I'm not sure what.

I got a sunny Thursday evening in dire need of some throwback. Everything went great today, or perhaps it went terribly and I didn't notice.

Relaxed; getting into a late night kind of vibe.

My home team wrecked at homecoming and I hijacked the field with the guys afterwards to throw the disc around until we got kicked out. It was awesome. Feelin' good...

So long as I'm doing homework, I may as well rock out.

Feeling bright and driven. Almost fiery. This song makes for a good fit.

I'm sitting, smoking, already in the weepy, painful stage of a new piece of writing, so I may as well listen to some of the finest writing there is.

Feeling a little depleted, I know why, but I'll have to wait to fix it until tomorrow. Feeling conflicted about a number of things. Need something bittersweet to accent the mood.

Halloween was killer. Need some crazy blown out hip-hop for the night. 'Tis also Day of the Dead, and it's hard to get deader than Death Grips.

Had the day off school, so I spent it working. Pretty tired.

I've got to block out a generous amount of distraction and temptation. I also become a man in the eyes of the law tomorrow. Need something with a little kick.
