Too late! ha ha all the content is done. The installer is the hang up now. I've got some typed instructions, but I'd really like to build an installer. I did see they were going to be making some massive changes. I think I will wait till after that to see what still works and what can be done after the changes.

Good idea. The nice thing is, I'm betting that a UI based in HTML5 is proably going to be easier to edit than Air. I remember installing mods for NHL 2004 that completely reworked almost the entire game's UI because it was using HTML.
@Wilpanzer I found a quote (that I forgot to copy and paste my bad) that suggested that there is evidence that even cartoonish blood and violence can cause violent behavior. I agree that it still isn't a good thing that the main purpose is generally to kill things, BUT, that excessive blood and gore makes it seem far worse and adds to the overkill that is modern gaming. Anyway that's just how I feel about it.

Interesting. When Soldier of Fortune first came out you could shoot the limbs off of people. It was very gory for its generation. I can remember, now looking back ashamed, that I found a lot of enjoyment seeing limbs fly off, but I was younger than 10/11 at the time. I also remember the great commotion over CoD World at War where you could slowly burn someone to death with a flamethrower or shoot off limbs with an MG42 or shotgun with great ease. It was quite graphic and I was at that time very shocked by how much excitement it generated in gaming circles. It would seem that these type of games bring out the inner sadist out of people.

Here's some more no swear and modesty mods
Here's a no swear mod for Red Orchestra 2
It changes the voices to the voices from Red Orchestra 1. The mod doesn't explicitly state that is doesn't swear, but it does remove all the swearing. Can't say the same for Red Orchestra Rising Storm

Here's one for Fallout 3 to remove the strong language. It doesn't get H and D words. The author has considered making it a full no swear mod, but for now it gets rid of the stronger words:

Here's one for Fallout New Vegas. It's made by the same author as the Fallout 3. It also only gets the strong words and doesn't removed the H and D words.

Here's another one. It's for a game called Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad. It replaces the voices with the voices from Red Orchestra 1, which didn't have swearing.

Does anyone know if the blood/gore and language can be turned off in XCom? I've heard such, but I don't own the game so i can't verify. In my modding research I found that it was very difficult to mod because methods to do so aren't readily available or it requires hex editing, which I've never done before. (
http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Basi ... lling_mods" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) (
http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/ ... -possible/) Does anyone know if there are blood/gore and language options? Also with the language, if there is any option, is it only for troop banter or is it general language volume that would make the rest of the game campaign voiceless? I know with games like Company of Heroes there's an option to turn down the volume of the voices, which can work for multiplayer, but there wouldn't be any voices for the campaign. I haven't figured out how to get edited audio to load on Company of Heroes, otherwise I would probably have that mod published as well.

Hey Guys, I have another handful of games with no blood options. The original dawn of war series. This would include Dawn of War, Dawn of war: Winter Assault, Dawn of war: Dark Crusade, and Dawn of War: Soulstorm. I'm a fan of RTS games so this was really great. There's also tons of mods out there for them on moddb.com

I found another one guys. This one is for State of Decay. I've not played it, not do I know much about it, but the author definitely took a lot of time to create it. They had to listen to 16,000+ files and then find all the corresponding files for subtitles. Here's the link:

Hey guys I created another no swear mod. This one is for Signal Ops. It's not a very common game. It can be frustrating, but it's great fun with friends. Here's the link.

Hey guys. I recently updated my League of Legends modesty mod.
http://www.moddb.com/members/general-re ... st-legends
It should now include new skins for chapions. RIOT has revamped some older skins, but I haven't had time to get to them yet. I've been busy with about 4 other modesty and no swear mods: Halo 1, Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl, Chrome, and Heroes of Might and Magic 5. I've not had a lot of time, but I'm still making some progress with each of those as I'm able to. Please tell your friends about the mods. There's lots of good games that people can enjoy with the mods we've been putting together on this list. Thanks guys
