Bought it, played it and finished it... BEST GAME EVER! Really loved the story and the 'rookie' Lara angle is suburb (they really hook you into the emotions of what she goes through in the adventure). Gorgeous locations and graphics scenes, great puzzles and action, although it leans more towards the action and exploration that puzzle, compared to previous games in the franchise, but I suppose it is to hook a new generation to the Tomb Raider club, which is good... Very intense close quarters melee combat, really gets the adrenaline pumping when a murderous ruffian charges up close and you can't aim a gun at them properly! Love the idea that they made the bow and arrow a central weapon and tool to solve puzzles and traverse obstacles through the levels although the cut scene type action sequences where you have to press the right button at the right time or you die, got a little tedious at times though there weren't that many of them, which makes it okay... Would have loved to have a more RPG feel to it, collecting parts to build contraptions, shelters, tools, equipment etc. All the scraps and bits you collect goes towards upgrades for your weapons or interesting artifacts as interesting collectors items, which is cool, but they could have done so much more with it. Also, a central hide out spot you could return to would be great, instead of just all the little camp fire spots where you can upgrade skills and weapons, which I loved as well btw.

Bottom line, highly recommended for both Lara Croft fans and newbies looking for a great game and a great adventure!
