Rocky Mountain Oysters... that'd take a little preparation for me before I can eat it.

Shadowrun 2nd Edition, for reasons that are not immediately apparent. Let's just say I was young and I got a little too into it. I friggin' wept when an NPC close to my PC died.

Do you like music? If so favorite singer?

My music tastes are... uncommon.
My main interests are orchestral works - soundtracks mostly. So, I dig composers like Hans Zimmer, James Newton Howard, Steve Jablonsky, Howard Shore... I'm currently eating up all the production music I can, so anything by Two Steps From Hell, Immediate Music, et al, I must consume. I'm also very well versed in video games music too.
I guess if I had to pick a favorite solo singer, it would have to be Enya. My favorite band would have to be Within Temptation. Symphonic rock is the bees knees!

Stop being me, man. From Hans Zimmer to Immediate. This is uncanny.
Check out Epica's Classical Conspiracy album if you like orchestral scores and symphonic metal (probably the two greatest genres ever).

I'll do that. I know Epica keeps coming up as a recommended purchase on my Amazon page.
As far a symphonic rock (or metal) goes, my most recent acquisition is Nemesea. They're pretty solid. My introduction to the genre was Within Temptation (I'm glad they got rid of the growling after the first album - instant turnoff) and I didn't hear anything that quite clicked with me afterward. Some friends recommended Nightwish (too operatic? Sarah Brightman is about as far as I go with that) but I didn't care for them. Nemesea is my first assimilation of a new symphonic metal band.

I really like Nightwish. Their older stuff is very opera heavy with their singer Tarja Turunen, but they had falling out and their new singer is far less opera heavy (which was a negative in my book).

Maybe I need to check out their most recent stuff then. Opera hits my hear funny, so I'm not a big fan of it overall (other than Sarah Brightman, of course).
Have you listened to any Within Temptation? I think all of their stuff but their first album is pretty solid. That first one they seemed to hew closer to metal tropes, but they quickly got away from it and moved more toward heavy rock.

I have. They were good, but just didn't resonate with me very strongly with what I heard.

Since you know Immediate Music, I suggest checking out some of the work by Epic Score. They've got a bunch of albums out. I've been picking them up over time and they're not bad.
Two Steps From Hell released a new album in October called SkyWorld that is really friggin' good. Also check out Illusions by Thomas Bergersen; he helped found Two Steps From Hell. Finally, I rediscovered Genesis by Mark Petrie and I guess I forgot how good it is.
