Okay, so this conversation is getting a tad bit off topic. So.........
IF YOU we're making games for the Ouya, what game would it be?
I would make RPGs, Action/Adventure, Fighting, Music/Rhythm and maybe some others. What about you?
The Ouya: Won't be long now...........

I actually was thinking about making a Shooter. Third-person.......with minor uncommon stuff mixed in.

Here is my take on the Ouya. I helped kickstart the system, by the way, so I'll be receiving mine in March or so.
I don't know if the console will be successful or not. But I am excited that someone is trying something different in the home console market. If it doesn't succeed, I'll have a cool little android based box I can use to stream content. (LIttle is the correct term, it's about the size of a Rubik's Cube.) If it does succeed - it could change things quite a bit. The system is about as powerful as a 360 or a Ps3 (give or take some things. You'd have to look at the specs for each system for fuller details) so it can create some awesome visuals. I love the idea that is open source as well and will allow anyone to develop games for it.
I dunno what the future holds, but I am glad someone finally is trying to disrupt the console space. Hopefully it'll work and hopefully the console will be well made with a good store attached. I say hopefully, because we don't know yet.
But we will. Oh yes... we will. *cue ominous music*
