The easiest way to do this is by flying through a wall at the speed of awesome, completely ignoring physics and living by the Laws of Awesome alone.
I haven't posted any of my poetry, because I don't want to drive anyone to shame.

And I don't write for free. ;)

By the way, Chozon, remind me not to go to you for literary advice. :P
ArchAngel wrote:Yeah, besides using a dictionary as evidence, the first definition listed is actually in line with what I've stated.
It's contrary to what you stated.

What you stated is supported by Wikipedia.

Poetry........

-------EDIT----------

I say that I'm a Christian
But what proof do I have?

I give money to poor people that most people ignore
But what other evidence do I have?

I have all these tools at my disposal
But am I using them?

Curse this ADHD
Curse this thing that constantly derails me

What is this thing that holds me back?

Is it someone else?

No

Is it the games?

Still no

There is only one answer:

I'm holding my own self back
I have no one else to blame but myself

Do I trust God and what He has for me?
Do I believe what Jesus said?
I should start doing that now.

God gave me strength that I do not use
Always trying to do it on my own

GOD, I KNOW YOU'RE LISTENING
I NEED TO STOP LOOKING AT MYSELF
AND START LOOKING AT YOUR SON

BUT WHEN I SEE THE SUN
I HIDE IN THE DARK

WHAT IS GOING ON?

It's nothing new..........
It's just my humanity...........

Focus
by DeadManReedeemed

Oh, this looks nice
Oh, that looks good too
OH MY GOD that looks good
OH GOD what am I doing?!?!?
I got work to do
I'm fifteen minutes late
Oh wait
I'm an hour late
And I'm just strutting along with no focus
No plan
I'm just a man who needs some cash
My poverty is like a rash
That irritates me
Yet I am comfortable here
Well, I am but I'm not
GOD that girl is hot
DANG IT
I'm having trouble with focus
This is bogus
Like INSANELY bogus

Is there nothing to lift me
From this pit slothfulness
That is unintended yet persistent?
Only myself
Yet I do not pick myself up off the ground
I just go around in circles
Like the Israelites did for 40 years
It be like drinking beer
Only I force myself to enjoy it

DARN IT
I'M LOSING FOCUS AGAIN

Two hours...
Three hours....
Four hours.....

I missed the class
There goes my grade

The End

I didn't write this but thought it was worth sharing

twas' 11 days before Christmas, around 9:38
when 20 beautiful children stormed through heaven's gate.
their smiles were contagious, their laughter filled the air.
they could hardly believe all the beauty they saw there.
they were filled with such joy, they didn't know what to say.
they remembered nothing of what had happened earlier that day.
"where are we?" asked a little girl, as quiet as a mouse.
"this is heaven." declared a small boy. "we're spending Christmas at God's house."
when what to their wondering eyes did appear,
but Jesus, their savior, the children gathered near.
He looked at them and smiled, and they smiled just the same.
then He opened His arms and He called them by name.
and in that moment was joy, that only heaven can bring
those children all flew into the arms of their King
and as they lingered in the warmth of His embrace,
one small girl turned and looked at Jesus' face.
and as if He could read all the questions she had
He gently whispered to her, "I'll take care of mom and dad."
then He looked down on earth, the world far below
He saw all of the hurt, the sorrow, and woe
then He closed His eyes and He outstretched His hand,
"Let My power and presence re-enter this land!"
"may this country be delivered from the hands of fools"
"I'm taking back my nation. I'm taking back my schools!"
then He and the children stood up without a sound.
"come now my children, let me show you around."
excitement filled the space, some skipped and some ran.
all displaying enthusiasm that only a small child can.
and i heard Him proclaim as He walked out of sight,
"in the midst of this darkness, I AM STILL THE LIGHT."

Here's a comedy poem that I wrote a long time ago. In a galaxy far far away called freshman year.

The First Year of High School:

The first year of high school is really not a breeze

All my classes are so hard it makes me want to scream

Been up to midnight just trying to get it all done

But I'm still almost failing all my classes but one

Oh, the first year of high school is really just a pain

All my classes are so difficult I can't pick up a thing

Wish I was back in first grade

Playing the whole day through

And I knew that all the grades that I made

Were surely one hundred and two

Oh, first year of high school you have lived up to your name

So I guess all the zeros I'm make are surely on you to blame

I have written better poems since, but I thought you guys might enjoy this!

Here's another.

Cheese
by Donovan Lewis

Life is like cheese
You eat too much of it
You get constipated

There's all kinds of cheese:
There's cheddar cheese
Swiss cheese
Bliss cheese
Blue cheese
Nacho cheese
Not-yo cheese

Red cheese
green cheese
Saucy cheese

Surely, I am gonna be constipated after this
