Things look good. You need to separate the spells you have available to you from the spells you have memorized for the day. Remember, when the spell you have memorized is cast you have to mark it off as used. Also, you can not cast that spell until you have rested and studied.
Yeah, I was planning on using that extra space next to the spell to mark whether it is memorized, and then another to designate that I cast it. Like m/c for a memorized and cast spell and m for a memorized spell. Does that work is there a more official way to designate this?
I would caution you as a worshiper of Vecna (God of secrets and forbidden knowledge, typically worshiped by necromancers because Vecna was once a man who became a lich, who became a god) since the main enemy of this campaign are the undead and users of dark magic. Especially since the person you report to is a high level priest of good alignment. There's also the thing with having a paladin and cleric in the party as well. That may clash a bit.
You can create your character as you see fit, just keep in mind where he will be.
I chose Vecna because in the last campaign I played, Vecna was one of the more interesting deities we encountered. Plus, my backstory elaborates on this a little better. (In short, I'm on a quest for a city containing the very things Vecna is known for).
Also, at least I didn't go with a Chaotic Evil Barbarian.
Also, if you could have some stats and a description of your familiar, that would be awesome.
Other than that, your sheet looks solid.
You should never feel your questions are stupid. When i began with 3.5 I asked a million questions. Feel free to ask whenever.
I'm figuring out the Familiar stuff, hopefully it will be up by the end of the day. Is there any place on the sheet that is best to put this information?

ArchAngel wrote:If we want to do actions, how would it work? Do we post a narrative on what we do, then you tell us what we need to roll for. Then in a following post we roll, and you continue the narrative?
What you would do is state what your intended action will be (if a roll is required) and then I will let you know what roll you need to make (unless it's obvious, then you can roll it yourself. IE I attack him, you don't need me to tell you to roll an attack, you just include it in your post).
If it's an action that doesnt require a skill check or roll of sorts, you do it autmatically. Like you say, "my character looks around the room." Then I will reply as to what your character sees. Now if you were looking for someone who may be in disguise or searching for something in particular, then you would roll a search or spot check.
After the roll, I will tell you what your result is (either successful, partially successful, or other wise).
@ DF32-You can include the stats for your familiar on another character sheet if you want to be really detailed with them. You would have to look up the stats for the base creature, then add the special modifiers to them, then set it up like a mini character.
Or,if you want to keep it simplistic you can just post the stats for the animal as an edit to your back story and I can reference it from there.

Very cool. Early on, I'll probably leave it to you to come up with the rolls I need, and when I get more accustomed to it, I can start calling them out more often.
For an attack roll, I roll 1d20 to see if I hit, and if I do, do I make a second post for the damage I inflict?

No, roll both damage and the attack in the same post. Make two separate rolls, but in the same post that way I can just reply without waiting on another post if you do end up hitting.
When attacking (melee) you add your strength modifier to your attack roll, and to the damage.
For ranged combat you add your dexterity modifier to the attack, but not damage.

So my familiar information has been added to other notes. Let me know if you want me to move it around or add something. For now, I'm gonna get into the plot.

It is a strange thing, how the winds of fate can guide... he says trailing off as he examines everyone else in the room.
I assume you have the mark as well? he asks as he lifts a portion of his hair exposing a glowing area on the side of his neck just below the ear. He casts a wary look at Kratimos, sensing a disturbing air coming from him.
A lycan, he says, gazing at Kratimos,
a holy warrior, looking at Guy,
and a thief. How quaint. He gazes at Father Michael and, with a cautious and cold glare, asks
Perhaps you can explain this. he says, and waits for a response.
((I hope I'm not breaking your DMing by entering like so.

Please let me know if I'm being too assuming of certain things and I'll edit to adapt.))
This works fine. The only thing is how your character would be able to discern that he is a lycan. Also, Father Michael and Crimson are in the study with the door closed having a discussion.

D'oh! That's what I get for not reading thoroughly. XD
As for determining how I knew, I was thinking it was the fact that I overheard some of the conversation on the way here. If you want me to rescind that, let me know. In the mean time, adjusting post now...

I'm getting a feeling it's turning into a Tony Stark - Captain America sort of thing. And I totally am Tony Stark.

So I guess that makes me Thor/Loki. Serious, mysterious, and not the most sociable.

I can be Captain America, no problem
By the way, I added the heraldry to my character sheet. The heraldry was made using an
online heraldry generator that Ironwizard once posted a link to on our gaming club forum.
The gold lion on the blue field is the lion rampant, to symbolize the lion on his father's coat of arms as well as his own youth and impetuous nature in battle. The fleur de lis on the silver field is for his mother, a Prophetess of the Lady.
(A Prophetess of the Lady is a higher level Bretonnian spellcaster in Warhammer. I do it this way as a nod to those characters, not to try and establish anything in this game fluff. In my Bretonnian army, Guy deLyonesse is married to the Lady Elaine, both characters I created per the Warhammer rules. This character is their son.)

As far as the spoilers go, there are on a need to know basis. If you guys are too tempted to look, then I can resort to personal messages, thought i would prefer to keep it in the thread. If it's something that you are able to share and you want too, you can give permission to the others to look at the spoiler. It's an honor system for now, unless I need to change it otherwise.

umm I confess that I read them, that was before reading this thread so from here on out I'll leave them alone. Apologies.

You know you have to stand before God one day and give an account right?
Honestly it's not a big deal, it's just a game after all but it helps when developing 5 story lines at once and you guys get to see the stories of each other unfold like a mystery, making even your involvement another plot, another story, ANOTHER ADVENTURE..RE..RE..RE....(echo sounds). Plus, if one of you notices something (your characters that is), only that character would know about it and the spoilers are a way of communicating it to an individual without alerting the party.

Cool, glad I didn't read Deep's message.
I'll play out what you said later out in the story, so everybody will be able to get it eventually.
Besides, my guys a little overpowered right now. Gotta knock him down a peg with stupidity and drunkenness!
