On top of that the Dreamcast had Project Justice, the Grandfather of all sick-to-the-core fighting games. If you don't know Project Justice, you don't know Fighting games. Period.

Pretty sure that award belongs to the arcade version of SSF, or Killer Instinct. Even the SNES SSF games. They predate and, though not the originators, certainly the popularization of the genre belongs to them.

As for me, I never got a Dreamcast. :\ It was that or N64, and if I had known that in the future N64 games would be downloadable of the VC for incredibly cheap, I'd likely have gone with the 'Cast.

Even so, Project justice was an epic fighting game for the Dreamcast. It was made by Capcom, bro.

Which of course means it was amazing.
