Alright, so, based on my knowledge of these games I've come to the conclusion as to which one was Ansem and which one was Xehanort.
The real Xehanort was originally a keyblade master who is a key player in Birth by Sleep. At the end in the secret video (I youtubed it), Terra 'gives his body,' to Xehanort (oh man that sounds wrong,) and that's why in KHII Xehanort looks like Terra, the main difference being a different hair colour. He refuses to let him have his heart, however, and so that goes to Riku. (This being the origin of the darkness in Riku's heart that comes into play later on.)
The guy you fight in KHI, is the heartless of Xehanort. Presumably at some point before the first KH he splits into both a heartless and a nobody. You fight his heartless in the first game, however, to distance himself from his other half, he takes on the name of his previous teacher; Ansem the Wise. Ansem the Wise shows up again in KHII, and denounces Xehanort's Nobody.
SO:
Original Xehanort (Master Xehanort:) The puppet master behind the occurrences in Birth by Sleep.
Heartless Xehanort (Called Ansem in-game:) The villain of KHI
Nobody Xehanort: The villain of KHII
Ansem: The teacher of Xehanort after he's 'born again' in Terra's superior combat body.
KINGDOM HEARTS AT LAST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you know that the GBA version of KH: Chain of Memories had a versus mode?

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

For my first games, I had to exit windows and boot it up in DOS.
No wait, take that back. My first games were on systems that didn't even have windows. Ahh, that old Zenith.

Yes. A game for kids and adults. Tight combat system. Great fusion of characters. And the best part: it's new but at the same time it's nothing new.Nate DaZombie wrote:No.DeadManReedeemed wrote:Kingdom Hearts. The ultimate RPG.

Oh no, I know what Kingdom Hearts is, and I think it's a fantastic series, but it's not the ultimate RPG.DeadManReedeemed wrote:Yes. A game for kids and adults. Tight combat system.
