Maybe not as obscure as you think, he was actually in some of the Batman and Justice League TV episodes. Now Killer Moth...

First off sir, I'll kindly ask you not to assume that I didn't know that. Because I did. XD

And the television adaptation of The Question had almost nothing to do with the actual character. I mean, I'm still really glad they did it, but his entire motif was different. >_<

And Red Hood had an entire movie made after him. Also, I wouldn't really call Killer Moth that obscure, not because he's that well known, but because you know everything there is to know about him from hearing his name. XD
